And your Super Bowl XLIV matchup is:

^ Wonderful matchup. It honestly would have been with any combination of the championship, but this is very promising for explosive competition. Looking forward to it.

I'm really happy for the Saints; they went from an all-time low with Hurricane Katrina to an all-time high of advancing to the Super Bowl with a formidable team.

I was anticipating the NFC Championship ever since the Saints and the Vikings won their respective matchups, and knew all along it would be close game, but had no idea it would be THIS close. That overtime was pretty tense with so many plays being reviewed in the booth for an accurate ruling (including that dramatic leap for the first down, that's a memorable play) and when it came time for the field goal, the kicker was focused. That kick was clean.

Nobody wants to make it this far to lose, and it was an emotional ending to the game. Favre has had an excellent career even without winning this game, and the Vikings overall have had an impressive season.

I was a bit disappointed that the Jets lost the momentum they had for much of the second quarter and let the Colts slip ahead and pretty much own the last half - I figured that this year, seeing how well the Jets were faring in the playoffs so far with the odds seemingly against them, and seeing how we're "due for something like this" that we'd have a rookie coach advance to the Super Bowl for once.

Rex Ryan should be proud he helped the Jets get this far - he's got real talent as a coach, definitely has a passion for the sport and his team, and to make it this far, and fare as well as they did against the Colts, given the circumstances, is a quite an accomplishment.

Colts have been a solid, if not absolutely phenomenal team, for as long as I can remember, and Peyton Manning shows no signs of slowing down. Drew Brees is not to be underestimated either, he's got high accuracy and just as good of an arm IMO. Colts vs. Saints is -likely- going to be a really close match as well...

Just look above you...
If it's something that can be stopped, then just try to stop it!
Well, I usually watch the Superbowl, and this one sounds like it'll be a wonderful game. Both are very good teams.....should be great.

/me gets popcorn and waits.
Go Saints!

The New Orleans Saints are Super Bowl Champions!

Somewhere, S.N.N.'s getting drunk up the ass.
I am glad the Saints won. Congratulations to the New Orleans Saints!

Really an excellent superbowl. I didn't watch much nfl football this season due to how commercial it has become, but I figured I had to watch the superbowl. One of the cleanest games I've ever seen. Only 5 penalties I can recall, and only 2 turnovers (one of which was during a desperation drive anyway).

<-- this is the dope on dope
Well, congratulations to the Saints. I haven't watched the game die to school, but I have recorded it, and plan to watch it. I have seen the highlights though. Looked like a very good game.

I work at the stadium where these people play at. Bloody awesome team. Sadly, I don't think they made it through last year.
I should have entered some sort of football pool. I called the Saints since September.

(mind you, they're my favorite team, so I'd call them anyway .. but .. eh.)
