It's not that bad, but it has a few issues.
1) It's a tad bright. Tone it down.
2) The weird pillar things (not the rocks) should have a better gradient. They should be shaded on the backside.

Is the FG palette good?
Give the dirt a little bit more shading, and you have yourself a very nice looking grass FG.

Yes, I'm using the Dark BG Mode. It really helps.
Okay, I think what I've done for this palette so far is good, but I still feel it's missing something. The level has a beach theme.

Katrefka, I think the "grass part" is a bit bland. If I'm not mistaken, there's two colors for the grass, so try using those in a gradient, and it may look better. Also, it's a tad bright to me.
