Well, I got this game and mde it to world 6. Then my friend came by and I started a new file and made it to world 6 again.
This game is real fun. Especially on multiplayer.
I've already "seen" the super guide block twice. And I'm only on World 4! >_<
I saw it on 2-1 and 3-4
btw, this game is very generous when it comes to Super Mushrooms. I've got 27 stored right now.
Heh, I havent seen the Super Guide block once, and I already beat the game 100%. I played up to 5-1 with two players, then the rest by myself. Never saw it.-Myke
Of course you won't see the super guide block if you play two player.
When I saw the super guide block on 3-4, I was doing great but then I died towards the end. The I just had a "fail" streak and I kept dieing in the area beside the check point.
People say this game doesn't need online when they defend it. No. This game DOES need online but only with friends. I don't have anybody to play with and it makes the game not as enjoyable as it could be. My friends only want to play Halo.
Yeah, I have got this game yesterday as well as DJ hero, both are great games. Played NSMBW with my bro until the first tower, it's funny how we almost kill each other all the time. I even enjoyed climbing the tower real fast so that he dies...
It does seem like the kind of game that can get quite hard. We have been dying somewhat. But, there are way too many lives to be game over.
I might actually end up getting this game, but I don't really have anybody to play with me other than my brother, who's good at any video game, and he'd probably keep on killing me as a joke. >.>Good fucking bye.
Brawl's online made the stereotype that the Wii's online is utter garbage. Brawl was just dumb. If you play other online Wii titles like Mario Kart or The Conduit then you'll know that NSMBWii could handle online, if done right.
I agree with Jakester. Brawl was just horrible when it comes to online gameplay. Nintendo should've put Wi-Fi connection in this game.
I know! But it would be friends only.
Wii's online in general just isn't good. Mainly because there is no chatting system. When you play online with someone in any Wii game there is absolutely no way of speaking to them via mic or typing. Also the idea of having a separate friend code for each game is pretty annoying especially because its just a random sequence of numbers. Check out my profile for awesomeness!
I didn't say Wii's online is the best. I'm just trying to say, the games online isn't a lag fest like freakin' Smash Bros. Brawl.
Well, I finished the game.
This is my new favorite 2D Mario platformer, and I loved SMB3. A lot of people have been saying that this game played it safe and didn't introduce anything really all that innovative. However, a lot of the levels I played through were some of the most clever and inspiring ones I've seen, and the ones that weren't innovative were still greatly entertaining. I say that it's my favorite 2D platformer, because Galaxy is still my all-time favorite, but NSMB Wii is still awesome, and I'm sure I'll remember it for a quite a while.
And the multiplayer kicks ass.
For those that have seen the guide block. I'm currently on world 5 single player and I haven't seen it once.
If you all actually researched things about the game, you would've found out that NSMBWii uses too much of the Wii's processes to even be able to handle any form of Wi-Fi.
Who cares anyway? The game is fine as it is. Every Wii game doesn't need freaking Wi-Fi to make it fun.
