I've been very bored latley. I've already played all the Zelda and Mario games (exept for the CD-i ones). I don't know what to do in SMW hacking. I'm getting bored in Brawl as I've finally managed to get 100% complete. Can anyone reccomend a good game? I'd prefer it to be for Genisis, NES, SNES, GB or GBA. But other systems are Okay.Your layout has been removed.
Little Big Planet for the PS3. That game would literally last you forever. Uncharted 2 recently came out too, Iv heard real great things about that game, the demo is pretty fun too you should maybe check that out. There's also Burnout Paradise which would last you very long since there is just so much (maybe a little too much) to do in that game.Check out my profile for awesomeness!
Thanks for reccomending, but unfortunatley I don't have a playsattion.Your layout has been removed.
metriod fusion for the gba is really funor illusion of gaia for the snes
Good games?
Zelda on the Snes, Zelda on the 64,
Super Metroid, All metroid primes except hunter (assuming at counts)
Metroid zero, Metroid fusion
Super mario world 2, Mario 64 (or better, 64 DS),
Any paper Mario, but super paper mario is the least.
Kirby Canvas Curse, Kirby super star deluxe (or better, "ultra")
DKC, DKC 2, DKC 3
Other games?
Golden Eye, Perfect dark, Jet force Gemini,
Chrono trigger, Final fantasy 6 or 7 (7 can easily be played on a PS emulator I think, I myself am using one to play Chrono cross...)
Earthbound, Mother 3 (there's a translation patch... if you're lucky)
Castlevania: Circle of the moon (best of 'em castlevanias)
Guitar hero (I recommend 3... But it doesn't have drums, Drums are COOL... When they work.) It starts boring but as you get good, you get more and more addicted.
Most of those games are MUST PLAYS. If you haven't played one, you should at least check them.
Some of my favorite games on GameBoy are Wario Land 3 and 4, for GameBoy color and GameBoy Advance, respectively. Another fun game for GBC is Super Mario Bros. Deluxe, because, even though it's a remake of the original Super Mario Bros., it has a lot of really awesome extras that weren't in the original game, like some special sections where you race Boo to the end of a level. Also, if you get a high enough score - 300000, if I recall correctly - you unlock a remake of The Lost Levels.
On Nintendo 64, I'd say my favorites are Kirby 64, which is my favorite Kirby game, because you can combine multiple powers to get all new ones, like the ability to throw exploding ninja stars, or the ability to turn into stone sculptures of your partners from Kirby's Dreamland 3. I'd also recommend Yoshi's Story, because it's a nice easy game to pass your time with, without worrying about getting frustrated. Also, you've likely already played it, but Paper Mario is my favorite video game ever. It's just such a diverse game, and for one so long, you never really feel as if it's just dragging on, unlike a lot of longer text-heavy games.
On SNES, I'd say Earthbound, because it's an awesome parody of American culture, mixed with some sci-fi elements and lots of silly humor. The music in this game is also totally awesome. Earthbound is highly recommended by me, as it's one of about four RPG's that I could actually enjoy, and it's just an all-around awesome game.Your layout has been removed.
I have to agree with previous poster in saying that Mother 3 and Earthbound are both good games. However, I would recommend Earthbound over Mother 3, as Earthbound is sort of has a light overtone to it, while Mother 3 is far, far more serious, and dark.
Also, I would recommend any of the Pokemon games if you like RPG, but particularly Emerald or Fire Red or Leaf green, ll for the GBA, or Mario and Luigi: Superstar saga. While I personally haven't played it, I've heard lots of good things about it, and if it's anything like Bowser's Inside Story, I'm sure it's great.
Alternatively, Metal Gear Solid is a good one to emulate. If you don't know much about it, here's the rundown. You're controlling this guy, who needs to infiltrate a base that's been taken over by terrorist, who say they're going to launch a nuclear weapon. You have to get in and stop the terrorists. What's cool about the MSG series is that you usually have two options: Sneak past everybody, or kill them. Sneaking a lot harder to pull off, but when you attack people, the can (and usually will) call for backup. Combine this with a good plot, and better-than-average gameplay, and you've got your self a great game. There are a few downsides, however. First it download time. .isos are humongous files that usually take a half an hour or more to download. Secondly, probably because they are so big, many common rom sites don't carry them. However, if you can get it, do so by all means.
Also, since it's apparent you have a Wii, here are some recommendations for Wii titles. Wii Sports Resort is a great one. The Wii Motion+ Makes the tracking of the Wii remote so much more accurate, and Wii Sports Resort takes full advantage of this. Just one thing I should warn you of, however. Wii Sports Resort only comes with one Wii Motion+. I you have friends you want to play with, you'll have to dish out another 20 buck for a second one. But don't think for a minute that you'll have to buy two more after that to fully utilize the game if you have a bunch of friends. Only canoeing, to my knowledge, requires four remotes a once for four players. For all the others, you can get away with two, if you don't mind sharing remotes. In fact, you can even use one for quite a few events, i.e. Wake boarding, Frisbee, Golf, and several others. Most of the ones that require two remote at once only have a two person option anyway.
Super Mario Galaxy is also a very good title for the Wii, if you don't already have it. Definitely recommend this one.
tl:dr
Earthbound, Mother 3, any Pokemon game, Metal Gear Solid, Wii Sports Resort, Super Mario Galaxy.Your layout has been removed.
Play Battletoads. Partially because it's a good game, but mostly for the lulz.
Since you own a PS2/XBOX360/PS3/PSP, on one of those get either sege genesis collection or sonic's ultimate genesis collection, and play Phantasy Star 4. Then, play the sonic games, Shinobi 3, Phantasy Star 2 if you like a challenge/are masochistic, Ristar, Comix zone, Streets of rage is on SUGC I think…
Yes, the genesis was good too. (PS: if possible, get sonic's collection over sega collection for more games.)
I don't know why people keep saying Mother 3 is so heavy and all...
I mean, alright, the beginning is... dark. But I have to say the best chapter was also the first one, because of that.
Then, the darkness is almost completly replaced by non-sense and, even though it gets more funny, it loose epicness.
I didn't like the ending either, for some reasons. I didn't like earthbound's ending, I didn't like mother 3's. It just isn't epic enough an ending... I didn't cry, or was close too, or something. But still, since Mother 3 has a more consistant storyline, I'd definitly choose it over earthbound! Our world will stop advancing once humans manage to create sufficient magnificence for a whole lifetime. Until then, I just create. Awesome video game music on my youtube channel
I think you should try WII Sports Resort.
It's one of the best games i've ever played.
All the sports are really fun it's the only real game i've played in 2 months.
i thought it came out around the same time as new super mario bros. for wii:/
guess i was way wrongXD
Yeah, Wii Sports Resort has been out for a while.Your layout has been removed.
MSG sounds pretty fun. And I'll try earthbound. Thanks for trying to help me. But remember, please don't recommend Mario/Zelda/Kirby games as I've pretty much played them all.
Just so you know, these are the systems I can play from:
NES
Genisis
SNES
N64
GB
GBC
GBA
GCN
DSi
Wii
And I think that's it. I think I'm going to try Yoshi's story and Earthbound for a bit.Your layout has been removed.
Oh, by the way, If you can get Metal Gear Solid: Twin snakes, do so. It's the remake of the original MGS, but on the Gamecube. The graphics are far more advance, since it's a whole generation ahead, and pretty much better overall. If you can get a copy, I would definitely recommend it.Your layout has been removed.
I still heavely recommend all of the games I've listed.
I don't know if you have played them though.
Perfect dark(64), Jet force Gemini, Guitar hero, Chrono trigger, FF6
are my favorite non-nintendo staring games. Our world will stop advancing once humans manage to create sufficient magnificence for a whole lifetime. Until then, I just create. Awesome video game music on my youtube channel
I reccomend getting a PS2. Seriously, it's as powerful as the Wii, if not more.
Ignoring that, sonic gems collection for the Gamecube, phantasy star 4 for the sega genesis, chronoi trigger for DS or SNES, and any genesis sonic game (or just get sonic mega collection). Also, Cave story, since you own a computer.
Really, no one has talked about a single Megaman game yet? Hopefully because you all assume he's played all of the older ones.
But yeah, Megaman 1-6 (in my opinion) features some of the best platforming-shooting on the NES. The weaknesses and strengths of each of the robot masters bring a lot of strategy into the games, and they are challenging games ovarall. I would try 1 through 3 first (there the best of them in my opinion) or you could try and get the Anniversary Collection for the Gamecube, which has Megaman 1-8 (I personally think 7 & 8 aren't as good though).
Oh yes... Megaman.
My all time favorite mega man game, and also my only, is the game called rockman and forte. It's japanese, I've had the ROM version (snes) but maybe there's an english version as well.
It translates as Megaman and Bass. It's really cool, you can play with either Mega man of Bass, and the game is hard, but not too hard. Though the triple last stage is nearly impossible because of the shower of mini-bosses.Our world will stop advancing once humans manage to create sufficient magnificence for a whole lifetime. Until then, I just create. Awesome video game music on my youtube channel
Scribblenauts for DS. It's actually very addicting, oh, and get Pokemon Heart Gold/Soul Silver when it comes out if you like Pokemon.
