Could someone tell me how I can extract the OW, the palletes (OW and level) and the BTSD Database from the ROM? I need to know it, because I want to start again, because I have patched to many patches when I was new to all this, and now there is no Status Bar, and small Mario has a big Hitboxsize and so on....

I don't think there is a way :|
Ive started over a few times because of sprites, GFX and stuff, and im glad I did because I had a chance to remake the overworld and levels.
Well, how to transfer the overworld and the level palletes is explained in the FAQ.

First, there is a rule against having vague non-descriptive thread titles.

OW - Open your rom and the OW. Open in Lunar Magic the new rom, and in the OW, move something and save.

Palettes - Go to File, Palettes, Export Shared Palettes

However, transferring OW palette isn't possible, I think.

The inserted block record should be in the form of a .dbk file in the BTSD folder. Simply rename it to your new rom and use BTSD to re-insert them.

At first: Sorry, for the Thread Title..

Thanks, that really helped me (except the OW pallete thingy, because that is, what most of my time was spend on...

Also I dont really get how the thing with the OW transfering works...

Well you can always look at the palette's red, green, and blue values, write them down, and change the colors in the new rom.

Or ctrl-left click in palette editor in the corrupted rom and ctrl-right click on the same color in the working rom. Should be faster, I guess.

...if only I knew that months ago... >_< Or is that a new feature of Lunar Magic?

Version 1.64 September 24, 2009 (9 year Anniversary of Lunar Magic!)
-updated the overworld palette editor so that alt-right click does a
gradient instead of ctrl-right click, as in the level palette
editor. Should have been done in version 1.63.

Version 1.60 September 24, 2003 (3rd year Anniversary of Lunar Magic!)
-Adjusted the palette editors so that ctrl-left clicking puts the color
on the windows clipboard, so you can copy and paste between multiple
instances of Lunar Magic.

I couldn't find where it was added, maybe it was in 1.00?
Well, if it's in 1.63, I say it's not that new anymore (even though it was changed in 1.64).
