I added the ASM patch Class pirahna plant fix to my ROM the stem is a straight green line and the readme says the following.

"By default, this patch points the upright plant's leaves to sprite GFX
page 1 and palette #5, so it matches the upside-down plant. If you want
to use GFX page 0 (as the game normally does), change $101D7 in the ROM
to 0A. If you wish, you can also apply this to the upside-down plant by
changing $101CC."

Could someone please tell me how to make the line look like a stem that is green i really need some help due to I'm using this in a pipe world.


Use one of the Underground sprite indexes. That patch remaps the classic Piranha Plant to use the same stem tile as the upside-down one does, and that one is a tileset specific sprite.

Change the sprite GFX setting (blue poison mushroom) so that SP4 is 04 instead of 05 (Underground instead of Mushroom).
