How to make goomba original SMW to squashable goomba?
Use Tweaker to make the goombas squishable. In Tweaker, just open up your rom and on the drop-down box at the top, select goomba. Then click the box on the left that says "dies when jumped on." If you don't have tweaker, itt's found in the tools section of the site, so download it there. Although, if you just do that alone, the goomba's GFX will be glitched-looking. You'll have to make you own squashed GFX to go along with that. To do this is a bit more complicated, so just search for it, and you'll find it.
Or just use a custom squishable goomba.
Anybody know what the tilemap the goomba squashed?

I don't know, but if you apply the Goomba Squish Fix patch, it will use the unused 5 in GFX00

Better yet, you could use some really simple (I did it my first try right, and i'm horrible at it) exgfx, and make the shelless koopa look like a goomba. Much, much easier. If you want to have the goomba squishible for the whole hack, you can use normal gfx hacks! Give it a try, at least.

Sure it may be easier, but then you'd have to avoid using koopa shells for the whole hack. You're better off using tweaker.
Yeah, that's why i suggest exgfx for the single level. Also, blue shelless koopa is a different sprite than the others, so you can still use koopas in the level. But your patch may have some features that this method doesn't...

Try these addresses.
x0E933 : Tile to use for stomped Goomba.
-- Tile 38 is the unused 5up sprite which is normally used to for a squished Goomba's graphics, so change address 0x0E933 to 38.

x3F47B : Change from 10 to 30 to make Goombas die when jumped on like the classic Goombas in SMB or SMB3.
-- Self explanatory. Just change 0x3F47B to 30.

So there you go, two easy hex edits to get what you want with no patching necessary.
