Man I heard of this collab a long time ago and I wanted to make a level for it... is that still possible in any way?

Not really, because it would defeat the purpose of being a collection of the entrants of the contest, and it would require extra work in fixing it for the rom and giving it custom GFX.

alright guys, i got to my dad's house, and everything is ready to be sent. problem is, the archive file that i made from it all is 190mb, and i have no idea how to actually upload it.

what do i do with it?

EDIT: never mind, i managed to get the filesize down to 26mb - it looks like the majority of the files were .zst files, so i just deleted them all lol.

still, none of the webhosting sites will let me upload it without an account at that size, and in addition, there are several roms in the archive. even if i can get it uploaded, i'd be banned for posting it here.

D:

--------------------
I suppose you could send it via Mediafire or Megaupload.
Use filedropper. It's quick, easy, no signup, and 5GB upload limit. However it's not a permanent link so make sure that whoever you're getting it to gets it soon after you upload.
I would use Media fire. The links stay permanent and you won't need an account. 4GB limit too.

Same. I'll see what you have. I'm curious, to say the least. Might not do much (if anything), but still interested. Email is in profile.

That's not good...
Hey, jesus, is it ok if I LP this when this finally gets finished?

I mean, honestly, I started LPing for this hack only o_O
And now, after over one year, it gets finished :D

I talked to rao and he said since he won´t be able to play this right when it comes out, I would have the chance to LP it before he does without him watching my videos until he also starts the LP.
You know what I mean?

So basically, I really want to LP this, from the bottom of my heart :)
(And I also want to see what GFX you put into this thing, because that would mean that my level is also changed :O :O :O)

so yeah, hoho

I'm looking at the levels you sent and a lot, if not all of them are kaizo. I don't really know what you're looking for in this project, but is kaizo difficulty and graphical style a must?

this was origianally called the kaizo contest. the entire idea was to promote the awareness of the kaizo-hack fanbase, and show that we are capable of creating high quality romhacks without changing our difficulty standards to that of the mainstream.

It is essential that you do not tamper with any of the levels themselves. These were made by people who supported the cause, and wanted to show of THEIR skills. it would all be for naught if we changed any of the gameplay. Feel free to add Exgfx to the 1 or 2 levels that do not have it, but wait until everything else is completed first.

oh, and btw... "CHAOS REINS"
(i honestly didn't get that name reference until like 5 seconds ago lol)

to everyone else:
the colab has been sent to Spade, SyStemKraSH, an00bis, and ChaoticFox. if anyone else wants to contribute, PM them instead from here on out. I don't know what they do and don't need help with as of now, and I don't wand to step on anyones toes, so to speak.

If they need help, i'm sure they will gladly take any offer they get. Thanks again to all of you for the amazing support. You truly are the best community ever.

--------------------
Well, my level was one of the original entrants, so... there is nothing I can contribute, I just want to play it.
