Now, my weak brain has got another idea for a hack: The Yoshi's Land Series!
This hack tells a story of a shadow of evil which kidnaps Mario!!! Luigi, scared, ran and told what happened to two Yoshies. Now the Mario's friens must travel in a unknown world to save the plumber!

Features:
Custom Music - a lot
ExGFX, Custom Blocks and Sprites
A few NPCS
New title screen
Some Hex, etc...]

this do look pretty good, (although I thought the smb3 gfx didn't quite fix there)

I am curious to know where is everyone getting those Yoshi graphics. If you know so, please PM me (or reply to this thread)
I wouldn't mind using these to continue my Yoshiro hack.
First off, I think that 'Super Yoshi Land' sounds better than 'Super Yoshi's land' but maybe that's just me.

The title screen looks good, I like the custom text.
Your overworld could use more ups and downs. Right now it's just one flat island. The water around it could use a few more icebergs, too.
The first level looks decent enough, I've always been fond of the Yoshi's House trees.
The second level also looks good, but it's kind of weird to just have Geno randomly there. Maybe if you could fit him into the story somehow, then it'd seem alright.

Nice to see another Yoshi hack here! it's better than mine lol T_T

Anyway, this hack looks really cool. I love the OW GFX and the SMB3 GFX. The title screen has some really good level design, and so does the level with the SMB3 GFX (I love them Yoshi's house trees!). But, no offense, the kickers' club level looks a little bland in my opinion. Maybe you could add a few decorations, but then again, Yoshi's Island GFX is kinda hard to add decorations to.

Anyway, keep this up! It looks really good!

The Overworld needs work. This is probably redundant in terms of telling you though, since you are, after all, the overworld hacker.

Why does everyone keep using the SMW-style baby Yoshi when they're using the Yoshi sprite set? It's... well, it's ugly, and there's not really an advantage to using one over the other. (Plus the perspective on his legs and body looks skewed.)

The "subterranean spiny" you're talking about is actually a Spike Top, for future reference.

Why is the coin in that screenshot green, by the way? Is it just a palette goof, or is it supposed to be a Frog Coin?

1st Screen - Looks like a good gimmick for a level. Almost like a Riverside jungle kind of area. Nice to see you're using custom sprites.
2nd Screen - Also nice to see you have animated stuff, like the waterfall.
3rd Screen - Whoa, the foreground GFX looks great! The background could be a bit more yellow, but eh.
4th Screen - Looks a bit empty, but it is near the beginning of the game so there isn't going to be enemies everywhere.

Good work so far.

I like the foreground you've used in that "Flooded Land" screenshot. Is it your own custom work, or did you get it from the ExGFX section? I don't recognize it, so yeah.

My only complaint about the rest of your recent screenshots is in regards to the Yellow Switch Palace's background. It seems a tad bright - I would tone it down a bit.

Thanks. I found out about A_Yoshi's gfx, so I'm using those. WOO, someone actually remembers my hack ^_^
Midna: I know it's a Spike Top, but I call it the subterranean spiny, because both have the same properties, especially hurting Mario.

Alright, let's see here...

Screen 1-2: Alright now THIS is a good overworld. Really nice work. The graphic changes are nice too, but what's with the palette on the mushroom house?
Screen 3: The hills get cutoff from the ground.
Screen 4: Not much to say, looks like a generic ghost house level. I hope you have a reset pipe/door, in case someone loses their spring.
Screen 5: I've always liked those graphics. Good pick.
Screen 6: Hahaha, I'm likin' the huge fish. I also see you have an air meter. Should add some stress to your water levels.
Screen 7: That palette is very, very nice. Like I said, those graphics are great too.

to sum everything up in one blow, everyone thing looks awesome. I will still continue to check on this.
Looks pretty good. The overworld is nicely decorated, but I feel you put the blue jay there because you could.

I'm also looking forward to how you'll get the player through the water levels with that air meter.
I'm using some Air Mushrooms, so the player won't die easily.
I'm near to release the first DEMO!! Only solving a problem with newbie's boss tiles.
I'll release some shots more.
