A vanilla hack
Which is 2 worlds long. 17 levels.

No background is boring. And for the title being anti-kaizo, it looks kaizo. the black and white area should be either completely black and white or not black and white at all. The OW has perspective errors and the green looks awful but other than that I like all the muchers. Munchers are suicide. That's what they are. And as Mayan goddess of suicide I always approve of muchers.

All your 'dirt' palettes are looking great. The black and white idea was been done before, but it's still cool none the less.
Your submap looks decent, the only thing I could point out is the sand falling on the top right of the island looks... really odd.
The yoshi coins are cool, but you should probably have a message box telling the player what they are.
Your levels are well decorated and the backgrounds look pretty good.

I agree with TOS, the dirt maze is a great idea.

1st - This hack is beatable without save-states and rewinding! Why would I even call it Kaizo?
Well the name could be changed anyways :D

2nd - Does this OW look better?

If not please tell me what I can change to make it look better :)

3rd - I like the black and white level and I will keep the palettes like this.

The palette of the paths could be a bit darker, and the transition of colors on the slopes isn't the smoothest, but it's a nice idea.
I was just working on my OW and Tadaaa



The transition of the slopes need a lot of work to make it perfect. Maybe I get it to work tomorrow.

The paths look a lot better now, but they could be a bit less saturated. I know I'm being a pain about this, but it doesn't look right to me. You could leave it alone though, it's fine.

Looks like a really cool vanilla hack. I like the map16 work you have done. Also I thought the OW was fine in the begging but hey you do what you want with it.
Nice OW and nice HDMA effects at white levels, but your hack looks like a bit of ... KAIZO.

Actually, it looks way easier than kaizo, and you can pretty much see that you can beat it without useing tools.
I still think it's kaizo... THe overuse of munchers in that shot makes me thinking this.

I only over used the munchers in 2 levels. :P
Kaizo has kaizo traps. Pixel perfect jumps. Really Hard jumps.
Which my hack doesn't have so...
Well the next levels I'm making don't have so much munchers in it

No, the munchers are in places that can be easily dodged.
Looks like a savestate-less version of Kaizo Mario World, which is good. Keep it up!
Uhmm. Since there aren't hard traps, I change my opinion. But your level design lookas a bit... boring.

Since 2 LP'ers LP'd my main-hack (Ball of Revenge)
And liked it. They would loved to see more of it. Well that's what I'm going to do.
Don't worry I'll continue this when I'm done with BoR.
