Sinking Floating Skulls

I'm having a problem. I made this really cool level, but to beat it, you need to ride some floating skulls on lava. I have sprite buoyancy enabled, but for some reason, the skulls keep sinking into the lava. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?
What's the sprite memory of the level? it should be set to 00.

It's 0F. I changed it to 00, but it didn't work.
hmm... are the skulls on lava?

Yes.
hmm.. then i don't know what to say.
hmm when i look at Level 10A in a Unedited SMW ROM it says that it dosent have Sprite buoyancy enabled so try that. i think sprite buoyancy is only for Podoboo's, Jumping Fish, Dolphins

Sadly, it did not work.
Are you using the one that you find in castles? (First Map16 page one)

Use the slope-type lava.
Your layout has been removed.
Use the type 2 lava, since it's designed specifically for the skulls.
Also for different skulls, give sprite 36, 69 or 85 the ASM Pointer 87D9 using Tweaker. Just a bit of trivia.

Yeah, I had the same problem, you're using the wrong lava. It's tile set specific object 3A.

My Files
Ok guys, I fixed it. And I made it really cool, too. Since it was a castle, the lava was the wrong type, so I switched it to a cave, and it works right.
