Ahh this game.. I played it through a few years ago, but never actually finished, I believe I was stuck at the X-Naut fortress >_<. Anyway, I really loved this game, but around last year, I made the HUGE mistake of trading it in to GameStop. So, I decided to bid for it on Ebay....

WARNING! SEPARATE STORY STARTS HERE
Oh boy. this was good.. terrifying fun. the minimum price I could bid was $14.51 and there was around 22 minutes left. I put in $14.51 and Ebay decided it wanted to scare hte living crap out of me and decided to put my bet as $1451.00.. I FREAKED OUT (inside, not literally). All the thoughts how bad it would be telling my parents that I owed $1451.00 for a video game. My life as it was would be over. Fortunately, Ebay had fixed it's mistake after the time of the bid ran out and changed my bet back to $14.51.. I was relieved beyond belief.
SEPARATE STORY ENDS HERE

So.. The game should be coming tomorrow (If it doesn't I'm gonna have to yell at the person I bought it from }B)). I seriously can't wait to play this game again. All the wonderful nostalgia, plus I happened to LOVE the humorous plotline and the amazing game itself. Side note, I absolutely love the music in Rogueport, it may not be as epic or exciting as some of the favorite boss battle themes but damn is it good. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GKFwm2NSJdc. Well, that's about all I can say until I actually start playing the game again, and I apologize my thoughts were so scattered here as I didn't really take the time to edit this, and I wrote this as I was thinking about it.

The Thousand Year Door was a very fun game. I think that it was the 2nd best Paper Mario game (behind Paper Mario 64). Well when you get it, have fun. :)

TTYD is one of the best games I have ever played. I still have mine and would never trade it in. I have completed it about 6 times and I never get bored of it. LOL at the story. I would be scared of the thought of owing about £800 for a game! :O

The prices of the game here in the UK are just beyond ridiculous! It's like £53 on Amazon. I got TTYD back in 2004 for Christmas.

Has anyone ever won the lottery thing in the game? I think I got 3rd Prize once.
Heh.. hm. I don't really remember the lotterey.. but I'm kind of dissapointed, because I THINK the mail came and it's not in there :l. Oh well, hopefully tommorow.

I have all three Paper Mario games (ironically, I played Super Paper Mario first, and liked it enough to try the ones before it), and I love them all, but Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door is my all-time favorite game. I just have the most fun with that game. :D

PM: TTYD was definitely the best of the three. A fun and satisfying light RPG. Much better than the trainwreck that was Super Paper Mario.
This game was simply amazing. It was THE Mario game on the Gamecube; screw Sunshine. Know how many times I've played this game from start to finish in all the years I've owned it? Try eight full playthroughs, 100% everything done. That's how fun the game is. It implements all the systems of an RPG very well, and if you've got fast enough fingers, you can even play the entire game taking NO damage. That quick review said, it's a good thing you brought this game up as a topic here in Gaming. I personally consider this game, a Gem :)

I cleared the Pit of 100 Trials... my brother didn't want to. I remember during the fight with Bonetail I had my breakfast. No, I wasn't up all night doing the challenge. I started playing in the early morning and it was chow time DURING the Bonetail fight.

I think I'm currently at Level 68 as of now, I dunno.

Wh-WHAT?! Level 68?! How do you have the patience to reach THAT level?!

I love the game, but geez, I can't bring myself to go to the highest level in the game o-o

You, my friend, are what I call DEDICATED.

Well, I stopped playing the game years ago. I hear the highest level is 99, like some RPG games. But I got to Level 68 (or was it 67, I dunno) by beating up on Amazee Dayzees with Crystal Star powers to get rid of them quickly. They're the only enemies worth experience, but I figure it's only a matter of time before they're worth only 1 star point, like all the others.

When it comes to achieving game perfection, I try. I succeeded in DK64, Mario Kart: Double Dash, Mario Kart 64, and Super Mario RPG. I can't remember if there are any others.
