Some guy on YouTube referred me to SMWCentral when I asked where I could download Tweaker.
At first I didn't have any intention of registering, but I did so anyway.
And now, I'm stuck forever... </hotel_california>
-------------------- --------> Don't follow "Find Roy's Dignity", my hack. Because it's pretty outdated. <--------
Pretty sure the same as Demonsul. If I remember correctly, I searched a video on YouTube about 2 years ago, because I couldn't find the top secret area in the original SMW. Somehow it led me to a custom SMW level video (interesting, I can clearly remember, that Fish Mountain was it), and first I thought it's a hidden level in SMW. Then checked out other hacking videos, and one of them had the link to this site.
I remember, learning how to use Lunar IPS was such a pain (funny thing, because patching takes about 5 seconds for me nowadays), and I downloaded a few hacks there. Another funny thing, that I looked into the forums, but the whole thing was "scary" for me, because I couldn't speak almost any English back then. I've seen Buu-Huu's and Kaeru's name, so somehow they sticked into me as "legendary members". I decided to register just after a half year.
I found a video called "Mountain Line Riders" on Youtube while looking for Line Rider videos (that flash game, you know). I became interested in it and watched that user's other videos. One of the comments mentioned smwcentral.net, which is how I got here. I lurked here for about half a year, mainly just looking at the tip of the day and not even noticing the forums. >_>
I was watching video tutorials on Lunar Magic (apparently I didn't get LM from FuSoYa's site) and the guy pointed out SMWCentral and talked about you get tools and stuff from here. So I went here and got stuff here, then about a month later I joined.
I also found out about SMWC from that thread as a lurker on Acmlm (I never joined that incarnation). Ever since, I learned things from lurking over the course of four years.
As to how I found Acmlm, I believe I found it by Googling "SMB3" of all things; it linked me to acmlm.overclocked.org or whatever his old site was. I guess I have the lurking record here
You hear dice being thrown...
