Actually, a couple days ago, we attempted THE FINAL BATTLE and got 3 lives in (2 of mine, 1 of his) before he had some technical issues. I made it to the goal both times. After said technical issues, we decided to start trying some offline footage, but if we could get netplay to work again that would take priority. We also decided if we are to do offline, that the left+right glitch would be cheating, since that doesn't work on netplay-capable zsnes.

Sigh. We were so close to having a conclusion right then and there, too. That, and I was on my netplay A-game, so I was sure I would put up a fight. Offline leaves much more paranoia for me. It was actually quite smooth (and fun!) netplay, too, considering the absolutely massive distance between us.

I'll probably give it a few more days to try connecting again before just submitting an offline recording, so as to not hold things up.

It's kinda pointless doing tubular since they are just going to get a game over anyway

I'm mr positive

If they get a Game Over, they need to play the level as long until they make it. (Well, the first one to make it.)

Okay, sounds decent to me. Count those 2 tries of yours and the 1 try of Desert-Fox, and start off from there.

And sure, if it doesn't work out at all in the end, just do some offline recording.

The time has not yet been specified, but the winner is known: through the fairest way possible (sure, with lag, but netplay is fairer than seperate videos), Vic Rattlehead won against Desert-Fox. Congratulations. You will receive this badge sooner or later:

As such, the tournament has now ended. It was a fun tournament to host. To all the participants : Thanks for joining. I hope the tournament had some degree of fun to you guys too.
Derp. That is all.

Oh Vic won, congrats to you Vic.

Thank you, I didn't want to let you down, after the irritating issues we had with the ROM data mismatch, and prove I'm not a totally clueless goon about netplay.

Tournament was fun, people were cool, and I actually stood a good chance. Overall enjoyable, and something to look forward to.

...

We totally need a Street Fighter tournament someday!
Congrats vic!
