Qucik reply

I think there should be a possibility to make quick replies in this site, in other words, to a little box apear at the bottom of the scren on each tread so everyone can easly post something instead of clicking in the "new reply" boton and waiting for it to load. Most of forums have that.

That would be nice.
I would like that. I have been going to a forum with that recently and I miss it when I come on here.
You can't be bothered to wait an extra 15 (if your computer is ungodly slow) seconds to post? It really isn't that hard to wait...

Yeah, even on my computer, which has undergone it's share of Trojans, fails, near-self destructs, and new hardware requirements over the past 5 and a half years, it takes only a few seconds to load, quicker than most pages already. I don't see why it's even nessecary.

It is called 'quick reply' for a reason. I can't see why this shouldn't be implemented.

Then again, it's up to Kieran to decide that.
My blog. I could post stuff now and then

My Assembly for the SNES tutorial (it's actually finished now!)
It would be a good idea, but then it doesn't take long to click the New Reply link. However, it's Kieran's decision, as Ersanio said.

It would be useful though.Free counters!
Yeah but like with some computers, it is annoying when you have to wait 20+ seconds for the new reply not to load, then you refresh again, and wait, and try a new browser and... You get the picture. (This computer is P.O.K.E.Y.)
I will become alive again sometime soon.

15 seconds might not seem like a lot to you, but that can add up.

Why does it have to be necessary? Are we not allowed to suggest anything for convenience?

Any idea how long it took for Kieran to code the site? Me neither, but I'm sure it wouldn't be convenient for him.

I've been in a forum that was completely coded by one person, it was much less advanced than this one, and it had a quick reply box. So I don't think it's so hard, and it would make things easier for everyone.

But if it's realy THAT hard to put a simple box then don't put it...I'm just sugesting something.
I would rather have a feature that allows one to post while logged out, like in acmlmboard.
While I don't really use Quick Reply options, it doesn't seem to bad of an idea. As long as it's not extremely annoying to code.
