I should have something witty to put here (even if it's just to update dated info), shouldn't I?

Does it really matter that much to you? If so, you can PM Rao here, his board, or on YouTube (pick your poison) and request not to LP your level.

I wish my PC didnt have a virus on it. D:

But anyways, I have so far played one of the entries, and I'm pretty fricking amazed. (I will not say which one :D , figure it out yourself)

Not really, just that if he is, then I could use less sublevels, as to not make borderline confusing paths.

...Come to think of it, I should probably just do that anyway.
You really shouldn't make your level in according to a possible playthrough on my end. You should make a level you find is genuinely awesome. If you find it awesome, then the chances are good that others will find it awesome!

That, in the end, is all that matters!

(also yoshi island is making me cope with nonlinearity)
Okay, but otherwise that leaves me with 14 sublevels, plus three cutscenes, intro/midpoint/before boss rooms, the final boss, and the two exit rooms.

Question for FirePhoenix:
You said we could slightly edit tiles to fix cutoff.
Is this exceptable?
In case you don't know what I did, I colored the 8x8 tile so the outside was white. This ONE 8x8 tile will, believe it or not, fix major palette cutoff. I need to know if this one little thing would get me disqualified. I can't really continue my level without knowing.
Thanks!
Your layout has been removed.
My level is finally done, for now.
I'll be adding some finishing touches in the week before the deadline, though.
Spud: that's fine because you're not truly changing the graphics, only the palette color. Instead of a transparent color in those squares, you have a white color. Things like that are acceptable.
Could I put two entrances to the level on the overworld? One will skip the intro, while the other will play the entire thing. This is merely to help people playing the game, and nothing will be changed gameplay-wise.
Yeah sure that doesn't sound like an issue to me.
so since we can use more.bin/asm, can we use smws for samples for the music? :o
*facepalm*

this is going to be a stupid question but essentially the level i'm planning on bringing in for this abuses a glitch (it's a very easy one to do and it makes it VERY obvious. no it isn't the silver p-switch thing).

it's a really clever level. Would it still be acceptable? It doesn't straight up tell you what you have to do but it implies it REALLY heavily.
I guess that as long as it's easy to figure out and execute I don't really mind. Just as long as it's not hard glitches, which you're saying it's not, it should be okay. Just don't go overboard.
How about hex edits with translhextion, and the T83fix patch? (Incase I change the koopas with another vanilla gfx)

Mine? *shot*

Ow, my arm!

Anyway, I am not expecting to win, I just entered so I could.

Nope its not yours Mariofan1000, I have not played all of them yet. But the one I was talking about, I was kind of expecting it to be good.

protip: more.asm and samples are not even remotely related. more.asm simply allows songs with adsr to be inserted, while samples would be totally going off on a different tangent.

as stated then, no.
Is it's allowed to make goombas squishable?

Hex edits, no.

Tile 83 patch...no, because while technically a fix, I need to draw the line somewhere. If I allow this, what else do I allow? it just starts becoming a nightmare.
