This is Super Mario World - A New Path By Master S.

The story is that Mario is out exploring a finds a bigger area of Dinosaur land. Mario, the adventurous plumber he is, decides to explore the new path.

I haven't got a lot at the moment but I have a video of a level nearly completed and a few screen shots.

The Video:

<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/e6F3fXlXkt8&hl=en_GB&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/e6F3fXlXkt8&hl=en_GB&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

Screenshots:

The "Nintendo Presents" screen

The title screen for now.

The intro screen.

The updated overworld screen.

Give feedback based on what I got at the moment.

Edit: I now have a userbar, just copy the code below:

I see nothing wrong with this, except in the video at 1:42 Yoshi runs on the empty blocks. You might want to fix that. This uses some good palettes and exanimation. I might actually look towards this.

--------------------
1. Why are you using the Donkey Kong Country 2 map music for your grass submap? It doesn't fit at all.

2. The title screen's background looks very boring. Try adding some detail. Even a few clouds would be better than how it is now.

3. There's some cutoff on your submap here and there.

Besides those and the sinking feeling that some of your pipes are exit-enabled on screens that don't have exits assigned to them, it looks nice.

"Lip: A Fairy's Tale" project status: Slow (Visit the project thread here!)

Yes, you could say I like Osaka.
For starters, you have some really great graphics in this. The animated bushes looked strange at first, but I like them now.

The only thing that might be an annoyance is having the switch blocks at 1:13, where if the player didn't press the switch at the beginning of the level, they would have to backtrack. Other than that, the level is really well-designed.
More screenshots, mainly graphic changes and another part of the level:

Redesigned question blocks.

Redesigned the On/OFF blocks.

*points above*

Start of a sub-level.

Lava ride.

More lava ride.

End of the lava ride.
Hmmm...this hack looks very good, honestly. There's a little cutoff at the beginning of the lava ride, where the lava meets the land. But the GFX are nice, the overworld is nice, and it just has a creative feel. This looks like it will be a great hack.
It is not really noticeable right now, but since you are using custom graphics, you might want to use the Fade Fix Patch. Also your title screen seems some-what flat and uninteresting, maybe a background might make it look better. Other than that, this looks like a good hack. Keep up the nice work.
WOW it looks nice I love the overworld graphics
and the graphics for the level the music for the
overworld sounds to intense thats pretty much it...

P.S the userbar is creapy I can't tell what it is???

Did you mean to say "creepy" or "crappy"?

Well, its the image of the hack while in gameplay, moving up and down.
I just noticed that in the last lava ride picture, you have an incorrect joint tile.

I've now changed the submap music to a custom piece from the music section. I'll post a little video of it in use soon.

Edit: Here it is:

I know posting a spc would be easier, but still...

--------------------
Bleh, if this fulls under double posting, then I'm sorry.

Anyways, lately I've been working on a side hack called Mario and the Thwomp, and unfortunately for this hack, all my enthusiasm has drifted off into this side hack. I'm still going to be working on this hack but right now, I focusing on making graphics for this hack and doing my side hack. So, for now, this thread may be closed. Hopefully, it won't be long before I actually start making levels for this hack again.

Alright, closing this thread. Let me know when you want it reopened.
