Well,

1. The trunk bends at an odd angle.
2. The trunk should get thinner as it gets closer to the leaves.
3. The leaves could use shading.
4. The bottoms are flat :/

Ripped from "Aero the Acro-Bat" for the SNES. There's a bad side of this BG: It takes up entire FG1, FG2 and BG1. But with a wise use of FG3, it shouldn't be much of a problem. ;)

Will be in the ExGFX section soon along with my two "Mario & Wario" rips.
The HyperBuu´s BG is just awesome !!

I've been remaking all my graphics for my hack. I'll probably bump/remake my hack thread once all of the graphics work is complete.







Are you making all those by hand? Whether or not you ripped those, they look pretty cool. Has a GBA look to it.

Thanks, the graphics are more or less rip/custom hybrids. Some are more rip than custom (like the first screen) while others are almost completely custom. (Like the last screen.)
@Boing: Those graphics are amazing, and I like the general style you're going for. However, what happened to the question mark blocks? I don't think they're supposed to be brown...

In this cave level, you need to use a Press (You need to Spinjump off of it, since idk what the code is for enemies being ridable), that never rise, much like the Press from Cave Story. And, I took advantage of the extra space of the Underground tileset to add the Cave Story style lava.



But the cool thing about using my main character is the fact that I can use the 3 brown shades in Marios pallete to let different levels have different palletes for the character, cave levels have a generally darker tone, or bluish tone, hotter areas (Like a lava cave or something) have a reddish tone, normal areas have the regular brown colors, etc.

I like the graphics, and the music is pretty good, but it seems kinda linear and boring. Perhaps add some coins or alternate paths?
I also suggest a background(>>)

We know it isn't ripped by you. And there's something missing at that remake. A! yes. The fence.
