All you have to do is change the sprite in the mushroom block ASM to the sprite number you want. If you wanted a bob-omb, put in sprite 0D.
I did that before I requested, actually, and it seemed to crash the game when I pressed the button. :V

It may be because the mushroom block is a custom sprite. You'd have to adjust the ASM to produce a sprite from RAM address $9E rather than from the custom sprite RAM.I've removed my NoFades patch until I can find the brightness code for Star Road warps.
Can I get Jaws from Sonic 1's Labyrinth Zone?
Also, can someone explain to me how sprites work? (I already know ASM.)
A stationary P-Switch that when the extra bit is set, it will not disappear and stay flat until the P-Switch runs out, in which it would be squishy again.Your layout has been removed.
I second Troopa's request.I've removed my NoFades patch until I can find the brightness code for Star Road warps.
