Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth

The spinoff to the Phoenix Wright series, Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth, was recently released in the U.S.

I picked this up on release and am currently on the third episode. As you may know, this game is quite different from previous entries. It's in third-person view, and there are no courtroom parts.

However, even though it seems very different on the surface, I find it quite similar to previous entries in the Ace Attorney series. There are still two phases: Investigation and Confrontation, which is the exact same thing as the courtroom portion minus the actual setting. I think that makes it a bit more humorous: it's quite funny that Edgeworth is interrogating witnesses and shouting "Objection" without even being in the courtroom. :D

So far, I'm liking it. Sure, the cases are as far-fetched as ever: ingenious criminals who carefully cover up their crimes by considering every little detail, yet they are still always figured out by the player's incredible deduction skills. The new "Logic" system is a nice addition: Edgeworth gathers facts about the crime, and must "Connect" these pieces to come to new conclusions and progress the episode. Although, I haven't found this new feature particularly challenging.

So, anyone else playing this?
Nope. This sounds interesting though...
This is the best AA game in my opinion. The soundtrack is especially sexy.

Not to mention Kay. *rimshot*

The Judge.
I've been meaning to try this out, and I guess I shall pretty soon. I played the demo, and it was pretty cool, so here's hoping it's awesome!
I was just curious whether or not there were court sections, and I'm a little bummed that they aren't in the game. :(
I was very interested in this. I gotta see if they sell it at my local store because I am definately getting this.
I'm on Case 4. I cannot put this down. I wonder if it would come out for the wiiware?
I'm tired.

Sonic 3 Restored patch coming soon
I've beaten the game, and I can safely say it's my favorite in the series. I especially like how the "Go to every area and present every piece of evidence to every witness" mechanic is completely gone now. That was the one frustrating part of the other games.

I'd like to see a sequel to this one.
I'm liking that this game retains some of the series' music. I do like some of the new tracks, especially Kay Faraday's theme. <3
