Greetings. Welcome to the home of celebration - the Mondo Ghost Dome. Please, bear with us while we prepare the festivities for the chosen one. We will be giving out spiffy emblems and trophies to those who show the most knowledge in various departments. The first challenge is a short quiz to test your knowledge of this website, and parts of SMW hacking.
RULES:
1. Please send your answers to me in a private message format no later than March 3rd, 2010, 11:59 PM EST. It can be in a TXT file, or directly in the PM.
2. The person (or people) who score the highest on the quiz will win an emblem of this dome.
3. You may help each other if you wish, but do remember that this is a free-for-all. Helping others could hinder you.
Here are the questions:
1. SMW Central had two founders. Determine the hexadecimal product of their user IDs.
2. On January 1st, 2008, a replacement site entitled "Nightfall" was put up. Which two colors were used to represent Nightfall's famous image?
3. Name the former global moderator who had less than 90 posts.
4. Name the newest administrator.
5. In late 2007, Kieran posted a very cheerful song which soon became very popular among the userbase. What was it?
6. Who was the first person to discover the Valley Fortress after it was constructed by S.N.N.?
7. Name the first network that SMWC's IRC was located on.
8. Which game do the smilies on SMWC come from?
9. The first custom music soundtrack project was formed in 2008. Which game was the key focus of this project?
10. How many C3 events has SMWC had, to date?
11. Which of Smallhacker's body parts was used on Megadmin?
12. Who was the first user to reach 5000 posts?
13. What is currently the newest version of Lunar Magic?
14. Which event brought the Doomsday site scheme into existence?
15. Which status was Mario in (small, large, fire, cape) on the 2009 holiday banner?
I'm assuming that the fact that this thread is unlocked implies we are allowed to post here...
About #1. Are we supposed to take decimal id times decimal id and then convert to hex, or take the hexadecimal representation of their IDs? (i.e if the id was 400, you would multiply by hex 400)
This just seems like a point of the quiz that could use clarification.

Question: Do have to answer every question? Or do we just answer ones we know and get the unanswered ones wrong...
You can answer as many as you want, and leave as many as you want blank.

Depends on how generous I'm feeling at the end of the MGD events. Obviously, the winners will get special trophies, but people who simply participated in any of the events might get something as well.
Is it possible to change our answers after we have submitted them? I have obviously realized that I misread the first question, and I would very much enjoy possessing the ability to change said answer.

Funny thing is I did the exact same thing and sent a fix-up PM to SNN about 5 minutes after. I had a stupid moment where I thought product was addition where it's actually multiplication.

Funny, I thought I'd be the only one being dumb enough to think of addition instead of multiplication. XD
But I bet my fixed answer for #1 is still wrong, haha.
So, SNN, on question 1, do we have to list the user IDs for question 1 along with their product? I didn't list them in hex, so...I'm just wondering if not doing that will make me automatically lose the question.

I still think there's a small discrepancy with the first problem.
Let's say that the two people are are this guy and this guy. Is the answer 0x600 (0x30*0x20), or is it 0x258(30*20)? I ask this only because both the answers could be derived from your explanation of the problem.
