N-SPC Patch

What is the N-SPC Patch? I just downloaded Romi's Addmusic and an SMB3 song that needs the N-SPC patch. What is it and is it in the patches section because I couldn't find it.

It is known as MORE.asm and MORE.bin, in the Patches section. I had included "N-SPC" in the description in the hopes that it would come up in a CTRL F.

EDIT: Hm... Does romi's Addmusic come with MORE.asm?

No. When I tried to insert music with "Romi addmusic" which required N-SPC I heard nothing and I needed to patch it.
It does. To apply it, all you have to do is enter

AddMusic.exe <romname>.smc -se

in Romi's Addmusic. Note the -se at the end - that not only inserts custom soud effects, should there be any, it also applies the N-SPC patch. Also, keep in mind you have to use this every time you want to insert a new song that needs the patch.

What is the .ini file? I downloaded tghe tutorial and it said something about changing the music name in the .ini file.

It is what determines the music number. Say you want to insert test.txt. In the .ini, you type in text.txt in one of the music slots. Now you insert it. (remember, the number determines if it's MISC, OW, or LEVEL music)
