Thanks for your input, as well as your nice videos. I enjoyed watching them. :D

No comment. :P
I collected 88 points on the first try. I suppose it was a nice way to spend an hour... (Of course, I'm going back for 100%.)

I noticed normal coins were pretty rare. (I assume item memory...)

If you need to update this, may I suggest either adding a pit in the victory level, or adding a goal and changing it so 1-2 doesn't unlock anything?

Also, I found the icy Tap-Tap section pretty boring for its length.

And I died around 10 times at the second pit in the ski section. (I used a savestate at the Middle Ring there once I was down to one life...)

Eh, I don't really find it a big deal to make the player reset after the victory level. Super Mario World and Yoshi's Island made you do the same after the credits. Once you reset it that one time, there's no reason to go back into that level anyway. Plus, if you've scored 100 on your first try, there's no reason to even continue playing at all.
That was very enjoyable. Well done, Jacob.
I feel terrible for not commenting on this yet, considering I beta-tested it and all that.

I had a blast playing it - probably the most fun I've ever had in Yoshi's Island, compressed to about 25 minutes of gameplay. I don't know what it is, but Jacob's style and creativity in his hacks has always impresseed me. The use of unique ideas (and the possibilities really are endless in YI), clever puzzles, and difficult yet fair traps, all comes together really nicely in this multi-themed level. It's tough to pick a particular area that was my favorite, but I'd have to say the skiing and Tap-Tap chase were really well done (and of course, any puzzles involving arrow clouds).

As FS4 said, I do hope this isn't the last we see from you on the hacking field.
Thanks. I've always found YI level designing to be particularly fun, just because of the fact that you have a lot of cool things to work with, even more so than SMW. It's weird, even though you have many more resources at hand with SMW hacking, I find working with YI is much more interesting.

For me, the impulsion to hack SMW2 is the thing, that only very few people really master Yoshi's Island hacking. (And because it is and will ever be my favourite game of all time together with the first game I've ever played by Nintendo, Yoshi's Story N64)
NEW! SMW2 Yoshi's Island is done!

Dammit!

I've not played many YI hacks but I really enjoyed this one. :)
