Ok, So I tried editing palettes 0-3 in the overworld, but a few of the colors are hardcoded by the ASM! I've seen more than 2 palettes for the standard terrain color in other custom overworlds, but how do I do that?

I'm pretty sure you can't use palettes 0-3 in the overworld, because they mess up when you complete a level. Use Palettes 4-7 to make more terrain colors. Make one palette the water, instead of the two that it normally uses, then use the other three for three colors.

I really don't understand. When I change palette 5, itm turnes the water edges for land the wrong color. If I change palette 7, it changes the water its'self to the wrong color.
