That's a pretty cool idea, Marisa.
I'd be cool to have a haunted graveyard level with zombie koopas and drybones walking around it.
I also really like the fake HDMA on the bottom there. It adds a nice touch.

Doesn't look too different from a normal koopa. What's that thing coming out of its head? A torn brain?

Also, the spikes in that screenshot, while there's nothing wrong with them, would look better with a palette that matches the pillars they rest on.

I'll be changing it's palette sooner or later.

Meh, it's not really meant to be a vanilla hack. It starts off vanilla and gets more chocolatee as it progress through the 12 worlds which I have sorta determined.

1) It doesn't look too challenging to me.
2) Does it act like a yoshi coin?

It looks a tad challenging for this early. My guess is that the coin is a midway point.

Also, if my eyes don't deceive me, the GFX00 frame of the Koopas hasn't been changed. You might want to fix that.

Well, your eyes must have deceived you. Mainly since it has been edited in the video except for the mouth of the koopa.


The gray coin is actually a custom block from the custom blocks section.
For the difficulty, I have one thing to add. There are two mad thwomps there, and there are several more in the level. Should I delete most/all/none of them?

Hiya. I have a few comments for ya. In that video with the ghost level, the midway point sort of stands out pallete wise. Its extremely bright in a dull level.

Also, the picture you posted recently has a really nice pallete. I always loved greenish blue cave levels.

Ummmmm....... part of the path says "5" and the other says "c"

world 5.
No idea for the C, maybe it stands for cloud? Is the OW in that picture a cloud?

So my answer to win a cookie is: The OW path, says 5 and C. 5 meaning world 5 and C meaning cloud world.

As I said in the screenshots thread, looks really nice, but Layer 1 stands out way too much.

Well, the polar bear wasn't the reference I was thinking of, so, no cookie for you unless no one gets it within five days.

So should I add a black outline to Layer Two?
