My poor television...I have sworn at that thing in various languages on many, many occasions...and all because of video-games. I'm talking about those moments when you are so angry that you throw your controller at the TV. Every gamer knows that feeling well.

Here are a few of my moments, just to get things rolling:

1. Getting all the Purple Coins on Honeyhive Galaxy and then falling and dying because I tried to take a short-cut to get to the star.

2. How about racing against twelve other people on Mario Kart Wii and being in 1st place the whole race, only to have my Internet die as I was crossing the f*cking finish line?

3. Oh, now this is my favourite: losing seven years' hard work and records on Super Smash Bros. Melee because I shut off the system while it was saving. Yeah--never do that.

Feel free to share your own blood-boiling video-game moments; we've all had them.
I can think of quite a few:

1. Mario Kart Wii - I'm like about 10 metres away from the finish line and I'm first and what happens, I get Blue Shelled to death and drop all the way to fucking 12th! The recovery time is a complete joke. Also, I want to murder whoever thought the Thundercloud was a good idea.

2. Jak 3 - That stupid Pac-Man minigame makes me want to throw the controller at the TV. It took me 30 attempts to finally beat it.

3. Final Fantasy X - Failing to beat Yunalesca and having to sit through the same 5 MINUTE cutscene all over again which, by the way, is UNSKIPPABLE! |-O

4. Guitar Hero: Greatest Hits - Failing at 99% in Through The Fire and Flames on Expert.
3-4 from Touhou 12.5 Double Spoilers

Oh my god, this thing is just ffffffffff

Another favourite of mine:

Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance (and Radiant Dawn, actually), spending twenty minutes on a map, only to have the boss critical twice and kill Ike. It happened with Michiah in RD quite a lot, too.
Getting a sword of kings/gutsy bat/broken antenna/magic fry pan/star pendant/goddess ribbon from Earthbound.

This, but with any other item.Free counters!
Mario Kart Wii is an amazing game, and a step up from Double Dash in a lot of ways, but I have never cried so hard playing another game. Especially when I accidentally erased my save file, or when I was being attacked online so badly that I had to change my alius.

I have to say, though, that my main source of game frustration came from cartridge corruption. How many of you older gamers remember the days when your saved data would sometimes just erase itself because of a cartridge glitch?
Henry Hatsworth in the Puzzling Adventure:

*POSSIBLE SPOILERS*

The final boss was among the most frustrating battles I've ever encountered in a platformer game. It offered up some pretty fierce attacks. The first being it thrusting its robotic fists at you suddenly with no indication beforehand, giving you little reaction time. Then came its laser ball attack, barraging an array of lasers balls at you in all different directions, making the player have to delicately avoid each one. Lastly, and the one that made me curse out loud the most, was its enclosing wall attack. Two sides of the wall start to cave in, and you must hit a button on one wall several times to escape your death. Not to mention that you had around 5 seconds to do so, and sometimes the button was high up on the wall, forcing the player to wall jump AND attack it.

Oh boy, that was one frustrating platformer. I hope there's a sequel. :D
most fire emblem games : going one square too far into a ballista's range with a pegasus knight. especially when i've almost finished the chapter :(
Sonic Unleashed had a few frustrating parts, too, specifically the Eggmanland level. And if you fail a mission or get an 'E' rank, you have to listen to the game's main theme played by what sounds like ninth-graders during their first school band session! Ouch!
5 seconds in IWBTG.
Am I unique in finding IWTBTG very relaxing? There were a couple parts I got annoyed with, but constant, rhythmic eye-hand coordination obstacles put me at ease almost entirely to the end.
Resident Evil 4 is one of the few games I have ever had a lot of frustrating moments, two of which come directly to my mind:

1)Entering the house at the beginning of the village, or running up the side path.
The game makes no attempt at warning the player of these two awful options, both of which lead to a Salvador (I think that's the proper name...), otherwise known as a Chainsaw Man. It makes surviving the village nearly impossible on a first run, since a hit from Salvador is instant death.
2)Meet the horrific work of Spanish science.
The first Regenerator you encounter, if you have played the game, will most likely be a bad memory burned into your brain for eternity. When you first meet this thing, you're crammed into a small room with little to no running space, so your instincts tell you to blast it to hell... But you end up wasting all of your ammo on the thing, since the only way it can be killed is with the thermal scope... which is found three rooms later. (You can kill it using normal guns, but that will end up with you using all your ammo... best of luck with the other two in the next room -_-)

I always found Thardus from Metroid Prime to be very difficult, especially on Expert. What was even more frustrating was killing him and then getting killed by a Sheegoth or an energy-dropping enemy on your way back to the Save Station.

JUMP! JUMP! SLIDE! SLIDE!
I just recently played Mega Man 3. I beat all 8 Robot Masters and then I get another 4 levels to do all of which are UNFAIR! Fail at the first boss and you get sent all the way to the FUCKING BEGINNING! What were you thinking, Capcom?! |-O
World 9-7 of NSMBWII. It's too frickin HARD. Just as the first time playing, I die. Mostly because of the munchers and the ice blocks and the piranha plants just fuck me off all the time! Even on multiplayer it makes no sense just to create an idea where gameplay turns way too hard in one level. Especially when the star coins really turn the difficulty very close to kazio (That's my opinion).

SMK: Getting started. No data available
DDR: Files and installer are Here. Link to blog is HERE. Pack 8: The SMASHING PACK. PM me if you want to put recommended Super Smash Brothers Brawl songs so I could put into my list (NOTE: 1 character per song (I only have Mario, Marth and Yoshi done) so I have like over 30 more songs to go). Next song: A song from Snake
The Boost Guardian from Metroid Prime 2, especially on Expert. There are some people who can beat that thing with the Varia Suit and a lot of Energy Tanks. Good for them. I beat that boss with about a half a tank to spare, and it's a good thing I made it back to the Light Beacon before I died.
Getting Sephiroth on Kingdom Hearts 2 (Anyone who has played that game knows how hard he is) down to 1 HP AND THEN DYING. I cried myself to sleep that night.

Kaguya's spellcard, Dragon Necklace. I always manage to dodge the first wave then die on the second round.

Just store some healing item with you. He doesn't block usage of items with Heartless Angel.
