Yes, Im finally gonna do it.
Im gonna finish this hack and make it great by merging any side projects and other hacks to make one hell of SMW hack sandwidge.
This hack will have,

Custom GFX, (DUH!)
Custom Music, (SMB3 Rules!)
Custom..Stuff (Detailed explanation ¬¬)
Fake "1UP!" Style Gradients
Custom Pallettes

Anyway here are some screens:

SMB3-ish title screen (guess what happens, you win a...prize)

Updated Small Mario GFX, I think the big GFX is better....

New Jump Pose!

Slide!

New fall pose (MIGHT CHANGE) and a squished shellback

Mario shooting some fire

Small falling pose

OW, Work in progress!

As for a plot Im unsure. (Ideas welcome)
Oh and if you want to support this hack take the user bar from my signature.

Looks decent, nothing to complain about. The OW is a bit plain, as JeRRy86 just said.
I like your Graphics, but couldn't you edit the ground as well, so it fits the custom Graphics, you made?

Anyway with the title screen mario just does afew things and runs off behind the scenery, kinda like what he did in SMB3. :P

(Any recommendatiosn for GFX that can replace the orignal tell me)
I do have to say, the enemies look creative. The only thing I dislike is the Jumping Pose that much.

Anyway, it looks pretty good. If you could modify the OW sprite so it looks like the in-game sprite, it'd look even better.

Yeah, I know the OW looks plain but it is a W.I.P, A custom pallette will replace the old SMW OW colours.
Yes Im using Fake Gradients, or whatever you call it.
As for beta testers...I will ask for them when I release demo 1.

Anyway I have a story now:
Mario and Luigi where at there house when they here that Princess Peach is missing. Reports say that she was in one of the secret rooms in the castle but when some lift repair guys came she was not there!

Mario and Luigi go to castle to see whats up. All that is found in the secret room is a Mushroom. Perhaps the Princess left it to help anyone who was looking for her? The perpatrator behind this still is unknown so Mario and Luigi set off to find the Princess and defeat who ever took her.

Peaches Castle is a optional level that baiscally gives more depth to the story. The bunch of screens that are below show this level.

Anyway I managed to get up without the lift. Floating doors..WTF?

Inside one of doors you have to get that box so you can......

Do this, cut-off will go when I edit the doors. :D

Lastly the cape is in my hack but its powered down due to it being too cheap. The cape can only let you spin enemies and blocks and float.

Anyway I started work on a underground level. Im using Spades GFX in the hack.

The pipe goes underground but there are some stuff to the right of the pipe.

the underground is amazing, overall, it is comming very well, keep it up, and considering all your sprites gfx´s was very good, i still want to see some FG/BGs.

Ah, I remember this as one of my most anticipated hacks. Anyways, the graphics are just as good as they used to be.

@Midna - I think it's fine to make a seperate thread, the last one was getting pretty cluttered.

Also, I'm starting to confuse the hacks
First Hack: The Subcony Mission? (The original that I got really anoxious to see even a beta)
Second Hack: Super "Mario" World. (I recall seeing this just before it got buried in the forum)
This Hack: Super "Mario" World?? (Are you remaking the old one? I was really looking forward to it.#w{:<})

The subcony mission was the seqeul to super "mario" world which wouldnt mak esense if I released a seqeul before the first one.
Anyway Im squshing in the subcony mission into this one as I spent ages making the last boss GFX and other GFX so it would be a shame to waste them.

Peach's castle looks great, and I'm loving the story line
Does "Mario" have a flying animation like the original did, or did you apply a patch?
And, I think the cape looks weird coming out of his head :P

Mario has no cape flying Graphics as you cant fly at all.
Im thining of maybe turning the cape into a raccon tail or something... (ideas are welcome).

Also when this hack is finished I have thought about a potential sequel that could be epic like this one but it would require some new skills such as a bit of asm and custom music.
