Warner Bros Entertainment UK is recruiting tech-savvy students to help the company with their anti-piracy efforts. During the 12 month internship the students will have to maintain accounts at private BitTorrent sites, develop link-scanning bots, make trap purchases and perform various other anti-piracy tasks.

Smart move by WB. I'm not sure if this is just me, but now I am very worried about the less-than-legal things one may get caught for now.

This is very scary. Now I'm too scared to download a thing of Bittorrent.

My dad downloads ALOT of stuff. Heck, almost all the movies we have are pirated. We have 75+ movies.

Look at who is funding this: Warner Bros. Clearly, their main concerns would be movies and such. (Not to mention, torrenting is not illegal, it's just commonly used for those purposes)

I thought they were actually going after real pirates.

'Cause, as you all know, Warner blows themselves.

Mario in Mainland will be in the next C3.

Oh shit.

Thats not even cool. It doesnt matter if its only for movies, use your head, if they catch a lot of people then other companies will adapt it as well.

But more importantly why THE HELL would the media tell us this? Their not going to catch anyone now... lol

Y'know, the fact that they are going after the people rather than the torrent websites themselves is just the main flaw. I wouldn't be surprised.
