I plan on putting this in the Difficulty category. So far, three rooms are done, and it is doable without slowdown, but it's pretty frustrating.

you mean insanely hard? cuz i got lazy with the second underground room, and instead of working towards a little glitches as possible and thinking of really hard, non-glitch, tricks, i decided to make it abuse some glitches.... but it still is really hard, possible, and in my opinion creative, for i haven't really stolen (copied) many tricks... i know right... creative in the difficulty category...

why not just let everybody use the userbar he likes the most? :P

ZMann: Looks nice, but it looks like you should work on the difficulty curve a bit. otherwise its looks cool. nice palette, too :)

ya know a jump like that blows...

i understand i couldve just kicked the shell on the 1st jump but for the less intelligent players im gunna speak up for 'em

ok so these sorta jumps are the stupidest crapiest crap of king crap ever...

then u get the shell and have to land back in the hole and do it again..

i have like 2 jumps in my entry like this but man for some reason this one jump seems to be the hardest... and its no different to the others accept the graphics.

i do like all the traps you have in this level so far and way coll is never gouing to be attempted again without the switch palace D:

i think i am just having a bad day in video games but this is becoming insanly hard without 5x slowdown for somereason D:

did i meantion there was a p-switch mid-air jump at the start that you need pixel presion for to get in the hole and survive and then jump at the right time to get off a goombe :S

thats just the bit that was frustrating me XD

EDIT: gives up... its just turned into that STUPID bullet bill jump from the 1st on cool or cruel but with a shell instead of a springboard...

and thats the moral of the story...

first off, you are supposed to not land back, that is harder, second off, i can do it all without slowdowns... except for the boss, and third... i know, i have used p jump glitch... i use a total of 4 glitches in the whole thing, and two of which a p switch jumps... but if i must, i will make it easier, but not until i play other peoples levels that will be entered in the contest, because compared to the ones i have played, this is arround the same difficulty, except in some cases harder, and some easier...

EDIT: you didn't even get to the hard part of the first room... lol, the end is the hardest! xD

take them out, please.
if this isn't even the 'hard' part yet, then screw that. seriously, you can put those kind of jumps in a pit-kaizo contest, but not here.

there are only two of those, and those are frame perfect jumps, no pixel ones, i dont know where you got that idea...

honestly i like p-switch jumping... heck my first trap/puzzle is with a p-switch jump its just you mixed it with all the other bullcrap at the start which made it unfun and make me use slowdown :S... i even had to change from zsnes 1.1 to 1.5 (i have 2 ver coz 1 is default and the other is there just for the slowdown toggle :P) because i needed to toggle the slowdown... and that jump i showed you is a nice idea mixed with noteblock for unexpected entry deaths

but it is way too hard for a first sublevel and this is coming from someone who has no sense in difficulty xD

i went for creativity, too bad i can't go for both creativity and difficulty #w{:<}

and yes, if the difficulty is better consistent, rather then zig-zagging all over the world, you will score more points on difficulty. i mostly work a lot on difficulty curve in my hack now, since 1/5 of the score depends on difficulty, fun and appeal for me.

aha, i was gunna say creativity but UAP was like... ear molestation hard D: (which i still need to send BOTH of those beta tested messages that died wen i got some error everytime i sent em :P)
