Yes, I keep older versions. This ones named puzzle abuse 1.1 and the earlier is 1.0 so it couldn't be that. I'll try patching again.

when i tested it i just patched a clean rom in a folder called clean 8, ya i have like 50 clean roms, and i called the file clean 8, and it worked...

before i post my level, would a puzzle kind of level ( p-switches, springs ) be better in creativity or difficulty ? and could i get somebody to test it for glitches first ?

ill test it, and i made a puzzle hack for creativity, because although it is insanely hard, the solution is creative! xD

Its not. But thats the only reason that its possible to make it through.
(The slowdowns barely noticable, anyway, until you get past them).

No, every single one of them spawns. But the slowdown makes it easier to time your jumps in order to get past them.
