There is always space
Originally posted by OGS93also i have used text boxes for sprites to pass through so if it does explain a glitch no doubt you will read it in the wrong place...
Add to the message where the glitch is located, so it doesn't matter where it is read.
Originally posted by OGS93also the walkthrough in the .txt thing, i meant so it may save the judges a whole lot of time on a level with 5 sub levels ya know?
Yeeeeeaah
no. The judges will try to complete the level themselves, if they need so much as look at the title of the walkthrough something is wrong. Allowing them to skip all puzzles and alternate paths is not playing a level, then they could just as well watch a TAS, or take a peek in LM and not play it at all.
Sending a walkthrough defeats the purpose of playing a fun level, which is what this contest is about (read a previous post by me for more insight in this). Besides: all those sub-levels, split paths, nutcracking puzzles and agonizingly obvious deathtraps (all of which are skipped in a walkthrough) are a genuine part of the level, which is to be evaluated.
@Paradox: My sucess rate of a singly shelljump is right around 70-75%, I'll agree that is far from 'almost every time' but it's drawing closer and closer with practice (read: annoying hacks)
Of course you should fight fire with fire, you should fight everything with fire.
Oooh look at my userbar!
