Huh, clearing original level data makes my game not load. Using a savestate doesn't work either; immediate crash.


Oh well.

Considering the amount of changes that were made "under the hood" I'm not surprised that you guys are encountering problems. For people making a fresh game with the editor, I'm sure it works fine with no trouble, but on the more heavily edited roms that you guys have it's bound to encounter issues. You all probably need to move everything over to a clean rom so that the editor doesn't find conflict with whatever 1.6x used to do.

Wow alot of Map16 space!
Im not gonna even use a quarter of it, I only wanted the none vertical scroll update. :D
I'm guessing all these bugs fit in with April Fool's day, guys.

Maybe tomorrow we'll get a newer version of LM that has all these bugs removed...maybe.

Apparently the tester(s) didn't test enough.
FirePhoenix is right though, there was a lot of changes done to Lunar Magic, no surprise problems are occurring.

Knight of Time: I don't know...it's possible...but I doubt it. We'll just have to do with what we got til the bugs are fixed and a new and improved version is made.

Did you make a backup of your hack, Error 52?

I strongly recommend doing it often (e.g. especially if you're trying to insert new ExGFX, a new custom block or sprite, etc), so that you can save yourself a lot of grief and frustration just incase something goes wrong.

Did you try re-downloading Lunar Magic 1.65, and re-inserting the GFX and ExGFX into your rom?

The rom would be full of garbage if you load a rom edited with the new LM into an older version of LM.
my game didn´t crashed, it´s good here, is just like FirePhoenix said. but as Knight of Time said, i will prefer to wait until tomorrow to see if a new verssion will be released.

Eh, it already did trash my rom. However, I have a backup ^_^.

The new fetures are just too tempting for me to not transfer and see if that makes it work.

Well..I just had a quick look at it..I haven't noticed anything weird yet, I only saw some more map16 pages and a blanc page in the 8x8 tile editor. Oh..and mario rides a blue bird in the owerworld for some reason.

I don't think I will get any bugs thought, since I'm working on a vainilla hack.
