Yes, there is an Xkas patch. However, are you familiar with Xkas?

Never inserted any pathchs, sprites, blocks, music, Graphics, and only ever used ExGFX, Lunar Magic, ZSNES and Lunar IPS.

So No. What do I do?

xkas is easy. Just download it and put the ROM and the patch in the same directory as it. Then, copy cmd.exe from your System32 folder (found inside the Windows folder on the C drive), and put that in the xkas folder as well. Make a backup of your ROM before this next step, just in case. Open up cmd and type "xkas patchname.asm romname.smc" without the quotation marks and with the obvious substitutions, and the patch will be applied.

I hope that helps.

and what are you typing into command prompt?

your supposed to type the location to where xkas is first.

EXAMPLE:
Quote
CD Desktop\Super Mario World Hacking\Tools\xkas

then you would type in "xkas (Put Patch Name Here).asm (Put Hack Name Here).smc" (if it's the other way around, "xkas (Hack Name).smc (Patch Name).asm" then sorry.)

Hacks I Support:

Or you can just stick cmd.exe into the same folder as the rom, xkas, and patch and type xkas patchname.asm romname.smc

If you really really don't get it, I strongly recommend using Xkas GUI. It's a really simple point-and-click patcher that doesn't require CMD or any of that stuff.
