Here is the thread about my first hack SMW EXPANSION. So far here are the screenshots:


New thwomp boss

A Frozen Valley level


NSMB WII inspired level

New OW Graphics

YI big boo







A Kuribo shoe level

Fry Guy Boss

Bowser Jr. in his clown car

A desert level

The hack features:
Custom blocks
Custom sprites
Custom bosses
Custom music
A few Custom GFX
Hex edits ( for example the harder koopalings bosses, and the smb3 palletes of them)
Patches ( Smb3 powerdown, Luigi's graphics for player 2, etc.)

It has nine worlds and a miniworld in world 7:
1)Yoshi's island- castle boss: Larry Koopa
2)Coffe plateau- castle boss: Lemmy Koopa
3)Gusty woods+ chocolate mountain- castle boss: Bowser Koopa Jr.
4)Frozen valley- castle boss: Morton Koopa Jr.
5)Blooper sea- castle boss: Wendy O Koopa
6)Sandy desert- castle boss: Iggy Koopa
7)Cloudy heaven+ piranha island(secret mini world)- castle boss: Roy Koopa
8)Valley of Bowser- castles bosses: Ludwig Von Koopa, Bowser Koopa Jr. (in the clowncar), King Bowser Koopa (in the clown car)
9)Special World- castle boss: King Bowser Koopa (custom)

Medium-Hard difficulty for begginers.
I think is not the best hack ever, but at least it hasn't any floating muncher, i believe.

The hack is in the moderate section, and a previous version is in the hack section.

Questions? Suggestions?, etc?

This hack looks like it contains alot of epic. Kuribos shoe!

Looks great! Although, the Flames in the Thwomp Battle are a little cutoff.

where is the cuttoff? in the ground? I think about that twhomp flames could be make cuttoff in the ground. However i prefer to use this thwomp boss instead the other good but overused thwomp boss.

looks like alot of fun, but does the thwomp boss really have to be there :\
its not bad, its just pretty overused, and not really fun. besides that, it looks great, and i'd love to beta-test when you need one.

Yes is overused and for this i edited yoshicookiezeus thwomp boss, it has another routine in this hack: he's faster and instead of throw a bom omb it creates a sumo brother flame and you have clear the throw blocks ground to make it falls ( but layer is an obstacle)

I don't know if i need a beta tester because the hack is in the moderators hands now. You could find in in the hacks waiting to be moderate section. If mods don't accept the hack probably i would need beta testers.

or you could use the thwomp crush block and make a vertical level where you have to make him crush the blocks (mixed in with cement blocks). it would actually be a fun puzzle, especially if you use the moving bullet bill shooter on each section. i can try to make a level/video if you need.
and if you follow through with this idea, credit would be nice #w{=3}

You read my mind! I've tried in a clean rom to make it but it wasn't funtional. I tried to edit the twhomp crush changing the sprite value in tha asm but it didn't work for my, after that my i decided to make this twhompp boss, but if you could make funtinal the thwomp crush block and give me the config i will change that thwomp boss and i give credit you for that.

i tried to change that but it doesn't work because sure i have to change another code in SpriteV. I will tried to edit it again but i don't know if it will work.
Bad news: people i noticed three mistakes in version 2.1:



1) bad mushroom pallete in Valley of Bowser 6 (easily to fix)
2) A bad tile in Chomp fortress (easily to fix)
3) And most curious the ending credits not play music. I don't know if a patch or an addmusic file delete or remove it, i don't know what to do... Someone could help me?



Since i noticed that the ending credits in my hack don't work properly i've decided to make my own credits ending. I don't know if is good but at least i think it could fix the problem with the generic ending credits. Here are some screenshots: ( keep in mind that is an autoscrolling level)

Now i have to edit in the OW the level number of both Bowser's front door and Bowser's back door to a unused level number( first i have to find it).

Also i fixed both mistakes that i mentioned plus another several mistake with a secondary entrace in Valley of Bowser 6 (When you find the key and keyhole secret room)

People i'm planning to release soon the version 2.2 of my hack, but i don't know if put beta testers before the release or release it directly ( i played my hack several times but i don't know if it's suficient), What do you think?

Now i have to say the mod of my hack to delete it in the moderation section. ( But i don't know who is...???)
i will beta test for you :D
and from the version i have, its amazing so far (im not far though)
EDIT: the hack isnt even in the hack removal log, so i wonder what happened :\

Yes, but i fixed some bugs and i removed the ending credits in Bowser's front and back door respectively, i put also new credits in the Extra level in the special world (probably if i get beta testers i will put them in it so that credits room is in beta for now.

Probably tomorrow i make the ips of the new version and i will submit in my files, also i don't know how to ask the mod of my hack about that :/.
reghrhre is moderating your hack.
they probably remove them while they are testing them to prevent alot of mods from reviewing the same hack.
Finally i decided to put beta testers for version 2.2. This hacks contains 81 levels so i think that i need arround 5-8 testers:


1- Hobz
2- SacredSilverYoshi
3- thefatkid22
4- Rulep
5- VideoGuy
6- Limepie
7- SMLink64


Requeriments
·Please, if you want to test this hack you have to take the results before the next C3.
·I need that you could see cuttoff, glitches or mistakes. If there is a really small cuttoff that isn't a removal reason you could ask me but i judge myself if it will be fixed or not.
·If you find a hateful level design in some level report it to me, because if i receive bad critiscism about that level or that part of a level (with bad level design) i will redone it.
·Don't ask me about implement ASM because i'm noob, and recently (6 months) i learned how to use the basic smw tools.

When i get the list of beta testers i will talk with them sending PM.
Probably if i get beta testers i will modified the room again to put them in the ending credits in the "Extra level".

Now beta testers sign up is closed.
I could test it for you if you'd like. It would be my first experience actually beta-testing, but I've played through a lot of hacks before.
