I got some confirmation that this works with new LM and looped wavs. Post here if it doesn't. Will pull the old one if this one turns out to be fine.
Nice work, smkd! Will this update also be backwards compatible (using "Lock-On Technology") with LM versions 1.65 and lower?

If I moderated your hack, there was apparently a 90 percent chance it was rejected.
Edit: Found it. I tried it, and it works just right. Title screen music loops and the music doesn't stop when entering an area of the level with the same music of the 1st area. Nice job there, smkdan.

Can I ask if you changed any of the hijack points? I have some custom stuff of my own that piggybacks off of sample tool routines, and to find where the smws hack is in the rom it just uses the last 3 bytes of the hijack JSL as a pointer to it.
I haven't, just RAM address for bank # is changed. Code should be identical.

e: it should be fine with older LM since it the only change in the hack was the RAM used.
I'm not sure if it works. Unless I'm using it wrong..

Here's what I did.
-Open cmd.exe
-insert with addmusic
-insert more.asm/bin with addmusic
-Open SampleTool
-Open rom
-Click Import from File
-Click location (of level I wasnt to use)[13C]
-Click available (to bank I want to use)[18]
-Click save bank
-Just incase, click File/Save
-Exit
-test
-fail
-????
-profit

Try inserting a song that doesn't require the MORE.bin patch, and then apply Sample Tool to your ROM (and the level the song is in). Having a "fail" like that isn't something I've ever encountered with recent versions of SMWS.
Yay! That was fast and nice, smkdan. I'm going to try it out right now. (since I had to get back to the old sample tool, so I could use Lm 1.7 on my hack)

And for me the music still cuts off... Does it matter if you used the older sample tool before???

Lets you change SMW's instruments (or more accurately, the sounds that SMW's instruments/sound effects use).

Also, smkdan, I have a feature suggestion: How about being able to name the banks in the editor? so it will show up in the list something like this:

14 (default)
16 (blah)
17 (more blah)

Kind of like that. It would make it easier to identify them if you have several banks.

Wow lol I was just about to suggest this!

Another nice feature would be to label what instruments the samples actually would correspong to. (For example @11 is sample #$01)
