The boss battle music on the video was such a turn off for such a great level. Ever think about finding a more fitting tune?

Well, after having 3 people (BestVideoGamer, Dusk, and Andy_k_250) test it out, I am now releasing a special demo of the first world boss. Thanks you three for your help. Click the link below for the ips patch.

Just played through the ips as a quick feel for the boss, and I must say I am impressed. The boss is fairly simple, and offers a moderate amount of difficulty for a first world boss. The rhythms of the boss become easy to figure out after a while, but the boss still works.

For the boss I have two recommendations. The first one being that the the speed of the shell routine (back and forth) be increased a little bit. I find it odd that Morton's walking and shell routines are of the same speed. It would also add a little more difficulty to the boss. Not much difficulty, but enough to make the boss a little more challenging. My other recommendation would be to have Morton fall to the ground, as if he passed out. Or at least something that shows that Morton has been defeated in some way. To me I find it odd that Morton suddenly freezes and then the screen exits to the overworld. It may just be me though.

Other than those very small recommendations, the boss is really enjoyable. I had a lot fun while playing it.

E-Man: Just made the first of those changes, thank you for the suggestions. As for the 2nd change, that will be implimented when I figure out some plot related items.

Edit: I also made Morton hide in his shell before doing his wall smash attack.
