*bump* (sorry if this hurts, but it's really cool, also because it's nearly impossible to search this sprite on google due to "Google bombing", making it have results not related to this).

Japanese epic sprites

Edit: sorry! It contain a ROM in the files. I thought that it would only contains Japanese sprites to link it to.

(No wonder why Japanese websites remove it! They had an IPS file, which is good, but not when they include ROM also.)

Here is the romless version

Data.zip is better. More up to date:

As for Mario's Nightmare Quest? Well, it's currently on Fusion Gameworks, ROM Hacking.net or the GCN at the moment.

Almost all dropbox links seem to have broken. I should probably find and upload another backup of any sprite stored there, since people seem to like randomly deleting everything from the account.

I edited Ultimate N00b Boss "throwhurt" routine via copy-pasting/trial and error so every sprite thrown at the boss dies naturally instead of exploding like a blue turn block/ rainbow brick.

If someone's interested in that sort of stuff (assuming you're not already using said block to hurt the sprite and you...like consistency, I guess?), seach in the asm file
""Sprite" Hurt Subroutine" code and remplace the whole thing with this:

Code

ThrowHurt:
	LDA !Flash,x

Thanks, I'll add it when I get round to updating this tutorial. Which could be a while unfortunately, since it's not exactly high priority.

I assume you mean the n00b boss? If so, it's whether the boss can be killed with fireballs. If so, it takes three times as many fireballs to kill it than it does thrown objects or jumps.

So in other words, if it's set, its fireball health is three times the normal health.

Your Layout Are Taking Vacations
Sorry for Bumping the thread, because a new tool for sprite insertion appeared: It's called PIXI.
I just wonder if cheat-master30 have some idea how to insert the Brutal Mario sprites using PIXI.
This tutorial is obsoleted, why would anyone need to read this in the first place?
Besides, it's 99% the same, minus TRASM.
