Tip: Take advantage of easy to install Patches in your hack. For example, the Classic Piranha Plant fix should be considered if you are planning to insert that sprite in your hack.
Hey guys! Think you can design/draw the best title screen for this hack and plot the movements for it as well? Now is your chance.
I'm looking for someone who can create a title screen which fits the following criteria:
-Have the name "An SMW Central Production" as the focus, in nice, creative lettering.
-Either have a still-frame (no movements), nicely made image or have Mario playing through a level.
-Be sure to include the "Copyright SMW Central, 2009-2010" somewhere.
Aside from that, be creative! There really aren't many requirements for it. You can use the current base ROM for it, and once you're finished, create an IPS and send it to me. If I get enough entries, I'll post them here and users can vote on which one they prefer. That will become our new title screen.
The deadline for this is May 24th - same as the levels. Go nuts, and if you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask.
Finally, an opportunity to do something for this. I'll start working as soon as possible!
EDIT: Can I reserve some ExGFX for it?

The Idea was to make it the style of the website's logo, which is SMW style.
Actually, SMW uses a font similar to a font called Chlorinap, the font for the logo is called "Mario & Luigi"...
Now if only I would get off my lazy ass and make something...
Also, the "A", the "S", and the "U" look weird to me.

It's only the Title screen GFX, the level is far from done though.
I love it! Just get rid of the wooden border. I hate seeing that border in people's hacks.
Also change the background palette if you are planning to make the actual level.
Well, gee, I was going to give it a try, but if people like Ladida who can actually draw enter, I don't think I'll have much of a chance. I do have a remixed song planned for it, though.
