So today, we were hit with a HUGE thunderstorm. It's still going on. This is insane. There was hail the size of golf balls pelting the windows. I was scared. I thought the windows were going to break, and the house would flood. The power even went out for about 10 seconds. Have you guys ever had something like that.

Phew. It's finally settling down.

Edit: LEVEL UP!
.... I just went through that too... may you by chance live near the south east part of Michigan?

Actually, no. I live in Ohio. Near Lake Erie.
Hit me too. I live in Michigan, near detroit. It wasn't too bad, though it was anticipated to be much worse. Yet another case of the Weather channel failing me.

Well, whichever storm just came from Michigan hit us here. It's going on right now and it's pretty nasty. Nothing like a hefty dose of lightning and cold weather for the middle of May~.
Yeah, we've had something like that before.

When it happened I was indoors at a shopping centre and the water seeped through the ceilings and we were all running away as the shops started flooding. To think if an electrical object touched the water everyone would've died.
Somethin like that. We were on vacation in Deerfeild Beach. The wind blew hard! It rained like crazy! Luckily we got food at the store. Hey, it's Florida. What do you expect?

Oh yeah, storms come through here all the time in the summer, and this summer probably will be the same. And some of those storms can get pretty bad; I've lost count of the amount of severe weather warnings that have been issued for my area over time.

But, yeah, like Rico just said, it's Florida, so that's expected.

I've been through one hurricane, Hurricane Katrina. After Katrina hit, my precious mango tree got knocked over and my neighborhood never had those delicious mangos again. Ah Florida, you bring me the best Citrus fruit and beaches, but you are the target for hurricanes of all shapes and sizes.
Sydney has some of the most erratic weather in the world.

It'll be a thunderstorm in the morning and a heat wave at night.

Of course we haven't had a really good one since 1999.

Ironicly, my power was out for 5 hours yesterday, and the storm hit me in Ohio today. Looks like this storm is slowly moving towards the northwest.

Who knows when I'll have
something to put here.

I just love the rain, don't you?

Okay, we (central Ohio) were supposed to get 3 waves of big storms in the past week, but none of them have been that interesting. What I really love is when there is non-stop thunder and the sky is flashing like crazy. :D

I mean, yeah, we just had a thunderstorm, but it rained barely for about 10 minutes. >_> Why can't it storm really hard anymore?

I just had a pretty big one a few hours ago, and I live in central Ohio.
I guess it just barely missed you?

it's been really windy lately, cars getting blown off the roads and stuff. but the last big power cut we had was about a year ago, and lasted 4 whole days.
Yeah, here in Oregon we get our fair share of rough weather. For example, about a year ago, we had a giant snowstorm that covered the ground with at least 1 foot and a half of snow, it knocked over STOP signs, buried cars. It was hectic... the day after we went sledding...

But we rarely get thunderstorms.

Edit: Of course, there was that one that knocked over trees, crushed cars, and killed two people.
Living in Washington I don't get much of a chance to say this, but it was a gloriously sunny day today. I'm sure the rain will be coming back within the week though, we can never go too long without rain...

i hate both rain and snow. >.<

I might put some sort of signature here once. I guess.
My city got hit really bad. A tree fell down on someone's car on my street, and a tree fell down through some lady's window.
This is why you live in Arizona. I like rain and overcast nonetheless, it's always refreshing to see it in such a dry state.
