lol. Are people seriously complaining about the difficulty pre-world 5? It's really not that hard at all until you hit the ice world. Sure, there are a couple of tedious, and/or stupid levels here and there (Firehazard Canopy still comes to mind), but overall, it's pretty run-of-the-mill in terms of difficult.
I'll admit that the ending is still pretty nightmarish though.

Music:
- All of the various songs Kil ported or composed for this project
I'm going to be uploading my stuff to the appropriate sections once C3 is over; not sure about the other contributors. In any case: enjoy!
I don't think Kil was actually involved in composing the overworld music, so none of those songs are included in the release. If you mean the final castle theme, that was already released on SMWC and can be found here.
I'm currently in world 5 now and i have to say that the difficult is very hard, even kaizo with or withouth savestates i cannot pass the levels "After That Shell" and pressure point. I'm starting to think that this hack is more challenging than fun, and i prefer ever fun hacks (with a touch of challenges, but not insanely hard).
For after that shell you have to throw the shell while standing still so it doesn't move too fast. I can't imagine why you're having trouble with pressure point.
By the way, how about adding the resource pack to the first post?
No, Kil was involved. He made the OW music for world 7, 8 and 9. With 7 and 9 not being in the game itself.
So it should be there.
Oh right. Yes, those three tracks are included in the zip file; not too sure how I managed to miss them the first time, given how at least the world 8 one is clearly labelled "Volcano".
That music was in the music section all along? I'm surprised that very few people have used it. And, sweet the resources have been submitted. I will definitely be using the P-Switch Ticking patch, despite how small it was, it is an interesting feature in the hack.
