Here is something I have been working on, a final general use version of the holding patch I use in my hack! It lets you hold things over your head like smb2, and lets you not have to hold the button. I also included a patch to let smb2 sprites hit multiple times in the air like in smb2.

Koyuki has been a big help with testing and helping to make sure it works for small mario. So he gets co-creator credit :P

Before I submit it to the patches section, I thought I would post the code here for people to see if anyone had problems with it first.

Edit: Note that the holding frames needs to be redrawn, and it dosn't have support for SMB2's extra animation when you pick things up. Extra animation may come later though.

edit 2: Since no one objected, I submitted it here. Get it there instead now :3

Amazing. Simply put, amazing. Haven't tried it yet, but I like the use of the C++-sh programming stuff in xkas.

Mostly did that so the flow of the branches were less confusing. I may start doing it more often though, I think it makes things much easier to understand.

Amazing! I never thought it would be possible to implement this into SMW!Free counters!
I applaud you good sir, this is quite the patch. It has been made before like stated but this one is so much better then the other.

I am curious how well the bouncing goomba part works with various custom sprites though. I assume no one has found any problems?

I am just worried because last time I did a patch it had some issues that I never was 100% happy about.

Nah, i'm not that much of a help.
