It saves!
It levels!*
It even saves in levels!
It's the Save-o-Matic!

What is this all this madness? What's all the fuss about? Why don't I have one? All of these are questions you may ask yourself, but fear not, as all your curiosity shall be cured shortly!

This is Tom:

 O - yo.

Tom has had some problems with features of the old Savegame method. He finds it tedious to have to return to a level and replay it just to save your progress. He wondered, "what would life be like if I could just go and save somewhere quickly?" Well Tom, there is now!

 O - There is?

There is. With the brand new, Save-o-matic 9001 DX**, all you have to do is place it in a designated level, and simply jump up from below!

\O/ - Wow, I need that! Where can I get one?

That's simple, Tom! You too, can be the proud owner of a Save-o-matic 9001 DX Mega Lightweight Home Edition!*** Right down towards the bottom of this post, you can take one home today, or take home many for the wife and kids.

\O/ - My life is complete now, thanks to the Save-o-matic!**** Thanks Vic!

Don't thank me Tom, you're the real hero here. You just keep on making those quality hacks. Be sure to tell your friends, too!

Make the Save-o-Matic yours today!

DISCLAIMER: This is what happens when you have nothing to show for C3, you add a lot of fluff and try to make it into a commercial from the 50s or something, for something you've had laying around for a while now.

What the Save-o-Matic actually is, is a block that pretty much does what the original save routine does, thus, you can easily place it in a yoshi's house type of level for easy access. Graphics not included, use your imagination as to what a save block should look like. Or just make a Paper Mario looking one, your call.

Instructions of use for the Save block:
1)Insert with BTSD
2)Place the block in any level, anywhere, but making it accessible gives the best results
3)Jump from underneath, and it will save all the usual data that SMW does, nothing extra, but I included compatibility with the 6-digit coin counter, all you have to do is remove one line as instructed in the file.
4)Don't submit it to the blocks section, it has a minor glitch that I don't know how to iron out (it randomly creates a splash of water, nothing too bad, but it is kind of weird) and as such, is not suitable for it.
5) If you encounter any other anomalies, let me know and I'll see what I can do.

*The Save-o-Matic can only 'level' if you're actually crazy enough to make an entire level out of save blocks

****Dramatization, not actual customer testimony

Y'all just have a GRAND C3 now.

Pepper your angus.

How does it load?
Doesn't save your position in level, just does the normal save routine within a level. It loads like normal.
