Your first level in Lunar Magic

My first level was good. Not great, but it didn't have any cutoffs.
I used to make levels in this thing, i learned more about level design and i have good knowledge now.
Somehow my level design became crap

The same person? Oh nevermind.

I'm pretty sure my first level was a blatant edit of Yoshi's Island 1, with random objects added to it. Yep.
Windowless ride, feeling alive
Are you alive or just breathing?
My first level was a bad edit of 105. I barely remember the details, only that the player start location was too high off of the screen.
Since "My Files" doesn't want to Upload a Bitmap Image, I cant really show you a Picture of my Level. The Best I can tell you is to watch the following Video to see the very First Level I ever made. My first Level was Level 105 (Yoshi's Island 1) and, in the video, is from 3:00 - 4:12

When I started hacking four or so years ago, I didn't think to keep
track or anything like that. So records of that time are likely lost
forever.

However, I got a few snaps of a tiny snow/bridge level I'm willing to
reveal to y'all.

And here's a shot from Lunar Magic.

It's a real Priority Nightmare if you ask me.

U-Mo supports this.

Bump just to say I've restored my oldest work from a restore point that's been sitting in my sysLMRestore folder since March 2013.

It's typical Kaizo trash with a glitchy P-balloon.

I also found a close second called Super Idunno World (yes, I'm serious) which is a short compilation of test levels I made with inconsistent platforms/decoration, made back in April of that same year.
Speaking of old hacks, I found these hacks that I made way back in 2013.

Oh my god.

The first level I ever made in Lunar Magic was a blatant edit level. I don't have it anymore, but I dunno why you would want to see it anyway if it was just a blatant edit.
End of this message.
Back in 2008 I finally figured out how to open LM with SMW. The level was slippery with a plain blue background, flat as hell with random pits, an area with a ton of koopas in which I didn't know why most of them wouldn't spawn at the time. The last part had a bunch of one tile jumps. It used the SMW castle theme music. It was made in ten minutes literally. I loved it back then, but of course I find it absolutely atrocious today.
I remember a level I made 5 years ago. It was a pretty bad flat level, when it wasn't literally copying platform designs from original SMW levels...

I'm only back into hacking recently, and this is what I first made. Or at least, the first that I've started with - it was at first just made to test custom sprites, and this screenshot is maybe the eleventh or so iteration of this one part of a level. Still not satisfying to me, but #tb{''} (Graphics came from here. Those X's are missile bill shooters.)
My first level was actually kind of good, it included ramps and good enemy/block placement.
There is no knowledge that is not power.

I can't even bloody remember, all I remember was that I sent it to Protonjon and he never played it.

My first level was a level with high/low tides, all the ground was random note blocks, and other stuff.

I recall an early level I'd made was a "top secret area" with moons piled higher than the screen goes for several screens, all of them flashing blue. The first level, well, I don't really remember. It's probably been lost to the sands of time.
Video link to my first level.

I can't remember how exactly I came across Lunar Magic for the first time. It was a mindblowing and joy inspiring revelation that I could toy around with one of my favorite childhood games.
I went to sleep thinking of what kind of levels I could make next to get people's admiration and my own satisfaction.

I kind of wish I remember what I was thinking as I was placing everything the way I did eight years ago. I don't think I'd be able to make something like that today even if I tried.
Unfortunatly, it got lost.

It was a REALLY long level, and I gave you FFF seconds to solve it.

It had a lot of areas of all type (normal grassy, an area with atletic music, a ghost house, a castle area, and some final area with boss music playing).
I actually used Map16 to change the graphics of floating/stacked munchers.
I messed with the Item Index to make coins respawn correctly when the player leaves the area and comes back.
I even had a good and legit optional challange for a 3-Up Moon.

But the main idea of the level, called "Spring, P and a Key" was using items. Get the P Swithch to get the Spring Board to get the Silver P Switch... you know, that type...

I also remember how the Ghouse House had you RUUUUUUN at the very top of the screenn, so you can make a REALLLLY long jump. I think there was actually a glitch that increased running speed higher than it should be...

Pretty interesting level, I would like to replay it... to bad i can't...
Making a puzzle hack. Current name: Puzzle World.
Current progress: Yoshi's House, a secret level with a hint, Green Switch Palace, and 3 puzzle levels.

Need help with the hack.
Please check my profile bio, and PM me if you can help. I will credit you.

If you didn't delete the sysLMRestore, then you could recover it by giving a Super Mario World ROM the same name and then restoring it to a previous state.
My first level was an edit of level 105, but not a blatant edit. Instead, I made it only 2 screens long, but contains a huge row of coin blocks (back before I know how to resize blocks form 2x2 :P) and on top of them there were mushrooms, flowers, feathers, 1UPdudes mushrooms and 3UP moons (and Yoshi, but who cares about him). That was when I was looking for a super easy SMW but I can't find it so I made one.

My hack:
I made a test level so I could get used to Lunar Magic. There wasn't a ridiculous amount of cutoff (probably the same amount as my other levels). But the level design itself was rubbish.

That said if you look at one of my other levels now, you'll see some improvement, but only a bit, since then.
