Yeah... I heard it from my dad of all people a couple of hours ago.
RIP Stephen Hillenburg, thanks for all the laughs you and your show have given me from my toddler days to 2015 when I stopped watching Nickelodeon. Spongebob is and was a legendary show, and I hope it will never end. Now what will happen in the future?
Can't say I was ever the biggest spongebob fan but I've definitely gotten a few good laughs out of it over the years (especially the more adult jokes I didn't get when I was younger). Spongebob is one of the most legendary cartoons out there and I certainly can't deny it's genius. RIP Stephen Hillenburg.
Holy crap! That was unexpected! I would've never thought that you'd even come back to the site. Have you proved someone that you're now mature enough and on their demand, Staff did unban you?look at the location
The time in 2017 was pretty good to me until I felt like a piece of crap from the ending of 2017 to the second half of April due to stress about school. That was the reason why I wasn't very active on this site. I was kinda afraid that I wouldn't do very well in an exam, but it was alright.
I made it to my top choice High School and I'm doing fine there, although it's slightly rougher than it used to be before. After the exams, I felt a lot less stressed out and my motivation for visiting this site as often as I used to came back. I had some good time this summer and it was the first time I had been on vacations without my family twice in a summer. To conclude this, we went with our friends to mountains and I found it fun mainly because I wanted to go there.
As for the presence, I met some cool people from my class, there was one person that went to the same school as me and another one who could've made it to it. I'm not as worried about my free time as I was in aforementioned time in 2017-18. I'm back to drawing and I want to create a drawing thread in Creativity Corner.
I've always enjoyed watching SpongeBob SquarePants on TV. I feel like the newer episodes of it aren't as good as the oldest ones, but the show is still legendary! As for some adult jokes, even the city name was one of 'em. I hope this genius show won't conclude very quickly. RIP Stephen Hillenburg.look at the location
I had a passing thought about my recent posts and went to check how many of them were sitting in Restricted forums. It turns out that I post a lot behind the scenes and not as much out here in public lol. I swear to you all that I'm making important posts in private! My posting sacrifices in the upper forums will help make this site better.
I don't really know what the point of this post was but here we are now.
At least you said something lol. I've seen some users become staff and then they just hide in the restricted forums and rarely ever make posts outside them.
In other news, just got back from the winter semi-formal dance. I didn't actually dance, just took a bunch of photos with my friends then hung out with one of my friends downstairs and watched a bunch of silly videos. It was better than any dance honestly.
I didn't go to my high school prom. I wasn't dating anyone and had no prospects at the time so I just stayed home. I think my friends did the same and we just did whatever instead. We didn't really care about the prom because once we graduated none of us were going to see the vast majority of the people there again so who cared?
And then ten years later I didn't go to my 10-year high school reunion either lol. (To be fair, it looks like a lot of people didn't, also it was $40 to attend and the dates weren't super well-publicized on Facebook.)
As for posting in the upper forums, I definitely fit that description to some extent. But I think that's more because I take on an administrative role with the site more than a helping one. I'm not the guy people go to for hacking advice and I don't usually seek that sort of thing out unless I'm browsing as a Forum Mod. So there's less opportunities for me to be posting in the public forums compared to, say, a section moderator. I still try and make the effort to say things outside the private forums though because it's good to be a recognizable face people can turn to if they need to.
This may be considered off topic but it's big enough news in my life that I wanna post it here anyways to vent.
So as some of you may know I've been sick pretty much all year and haven't come any closer to a diagnosis or any clear reason for my discomfort or illness. It's affected my social life, kept me from going back to school and kept me out of a job for months.
But I may finally have an answer. I recently went in for a Hydrogen Breath Test which apparently tests bacterial overgrowth in the GI tract. I got a call from my doctor yesterday that I tested "positive" on the test, but that's all they told me. So I finally know that I DO definitely have SOMETHING and I'm not just going crazy. Blood tests also showed abnormal Liver enzyme levels, and higher than normal Alkaline Phosphatase levels.
The only major downside is that whatever medication they're prepared to prescribe me isn't FDA approved, so it won't be covered by my health insurance program... So I'll be paying out of pocket and I hope to God it isn't expensive.
looks like someone fulfilled a wish, congrats dude!
My "prom" was a barbecue at a guy's house and it was nice. Even though I did like most everyone in my class, I was able to stick to my closer friends for most of the day, it was quite a fun day around them.

That's great news! I'm glad you finally got a diagnosis.
In my case I just found some wounds over my intestines, got diagnosed with worms like 3 times in a row, then got prescribed with some digestive treatment and eventually it mostly stopped hurting... you seem to have something more concrete going for you which is good at least.
Random thoughts that have been on my mind while browsing SMWC:
- Welcome back, Decoy Blimp! Sorry I don't have much else to say.
- This year will be the first Mosts in years that started in December rather than in November. I mean, it will happen, right?
- why in the world are people bumping old threads i don't get it
Tbh I've never been around long enough to witness a single one of the Mosts.
How does that whole thing work? What/who decides who gets nominated for what category? How do we vote? Will chips and salsa with guacamole be served? What about live music? Do I need to be dressed formally?
