The Mosts are business casual attire. A local sandwich shop will be catering. A small band will be performing a selection of songs from the VLDC soundtracks.
That sounds both mundane and also pretty awesome. If this were a real-life event, I'd attend.
Heck, if there were any real-life SMWC meetup these days I think I'd now be confident enough to go. [except a) I hardly know the current userbase and b) I don't want to spend my money on traveling too far]
How does that whole thing work? What/who decides who gets nominated for what category? How do we vote? Will chips and salsa with guacamole be served? What about live music? Do I need to be dressed formally?
Seriously though, it's not a real life event. Don't worry about your attire, music and catering. You vote via SMW Central.
Go around and ask and hope to be nominated for awards?
You don't have to sign. All you do is vote for users in the most appropriate categories for them. Anyone who wins in one category, wins golden one trophy. Peeps who place either 2nd or 3rd will get a silver or brown trophy, accordingly.
Also, a category for 'Most likely to get banned' would be nice.look at the location
tfw I may have a actual chance at winning a Mosts category now
Being serious tho, it's really amazing how I came in here as a total fucking nobody, and now I managed to make a lot of friends and even a fanbase for, like, 2-3 years since I was here lmao; I also managed to improve a lot on my music skills in that time too, going from a absolute newb who couldn't AMK for shit to actually doing proper stuff on it (tho yes, I still got a lot to learn) and greatly improving my musical skills in the process
really, it's just weird how I got so much popularity in so little time and how I have not only fulfilled my original wish (which was to learn more about making SPC music and increasing my musical skills) by being here, but I also made a lot of friends that are really great to talk to n' shit
Yeah those are the kinds that I mean. But none of those are as bad as getting a trophy that essentially says "Hey you're such a shitty poster you're probably going to be banned from the site at some point, congratulations".
-"Most Changed For The Worst"
-"Most Likely To BLANK Before Becoming Staff"
Stuff like this can relatively easily be brushed off. And something like 'rudest' is often well deserved if you truly are a total jerk, in my opinion. Honestly, you should feel proud to have won anything, but again that's just me.
'Most likely to get banned' just seems like bad optics.
