Don't know you're prefered style of mouse but here's the one I use pretty much a razer knockoff but the previous version I had lasted about 5 years of constant use before dying. May not be the cheapest option out there but I picked it up for $15 on sale.
I run a standard mouse normally, so long as it gets the job done and lasts me a long time. I could probably get something like that though, if it lasts as long as you've pointed out.

Given your reasoning I doubt my mouse would be what you're after but for the last 3 or 4 years now I've used a Logitech G502. It has easily been the best mouse I've ever owned and I would very highly recommend it if you ever find yourself wanting to spend some money. It's showing no signs of giving up and when it does, I shall replace it with the newer G502.

Also guys, I have some great news! In the next couple of months my partner and I will finally be applying for the visa to have her move over to merry old England with me! For those who don't know, I've been in a 4000 mile long distance relationship for what will be 2 years in March. Very much hoping I get to spend Christmas with her. Besides. Is it really a proper relationship if I don't accidently give her food poisoning with shitty turkey?

That's awesome, SP! It's pretty impressive that you've managed to stay together for so long. Long-distance relationships sound like they would be a nightmare to maintain for more than a few months, let alone two years.

I hope everything works out.

Wow, that's so cool! First off, hats off to couples who can survive huge distances. It must not be easy to overcome all insecurities. (It gives me the chills to think about the possibility of my boyfriend moving away to study in a different state a couple of years from now.) You two be happy now. I'm really glad the wait paid off.

That sounds essential to me.
That's good! I hope everything works well for you two. I wouldn't endure long distances without my girlfriend like you managed to do, but that's another story and something to think about.
Shoutouts to whatever mechanism got away with the "Piranha Fish Vine Plant" rank, it looked pretty silly
But hey if you guys wanna put it back it's okay too (or make a new gimmick? Be my guest!)

I thought that was intentional? I always found that pretty funny, as though it were a secret bonus rank on that rankset.

I think it's supposed to be kept from 6k posts onwards but it got taken away for some reason?
(At least the "Invisible Mario" rankset title is now fixed, it always irked me to no end.)

I never said it wasn't intentional, I just mentioned it's gone now.
As one who is currently in a 6 year long distance relationship, I must applaud you for actually managing to finally live together with your desired one. I thought my states-wide relationship was hard to commit to, but i'd imagine having one that's countries away feels even more mission impossible. Congratulations!

Indeed it was. Looks like I forgot to add it when I recoded the rankset system in December. Fixed, I'll push it in a few days.
I was bored today, and then I found myself having fun with Developer Mode on Discord.

I've pinged Rhythm Bot in a channel it can't see, and I've teleported users around by redirecting them to a channel from a different server. It's quite funny actually.

Now let's hope this post does what I think it does in #site-feed

EDIT: Didn't work lol. Wanted to get an emoji to embed in #site-feed with some trickery but failed. Changed the title back to what it was before.

I've been doing lots of reflection lately.

I'd like to think I've made improvements. I'd like to think I've gotten better. Sometimes I am not sure.

I make progress, but sometimes it feels like I am just sort of stuck. Not doing enough. Not doing something greater. I sometimes just put unintentional pressure on myself without even realizing it. There's so much I want to do but sometimes I just don't know how to get to that point. That point that can really be useful to many. I help people, sure, but I just feel like there's always more.

I'm a weird type of person for sure. #ab{:LOL:}

I feel you man, I feel more or less the same way. I've progressed a lot as a person and I think I've gotten better but sometimes I do something dumb and I question whether I truly changed, but then I look at my posts from 2014-2016 and I stop questioning myself.
Naturally anyone can always improve. There is tons of unlimited potential in everyone. I just would like to think that even despite everything, I could just finally get to the point where I feel like I am doing what I am meant to do. Like writing the stories I want to, making the games I've always wanted to, and ultimately doing something few people can do.

I dream often of such things. Different realities. Maybe it is foolish to be so hard on myself but yet I know what things I can do for people. I want to be a great friend and someone people can look up to or ask for help. Nonetheless, I feel I know the answer to how some things play out.

Nothing great is ever easy. It'll take work, but I can definitely do it.

Well, as of today, I can officially say that I've beaten every classic Mega Man game on its original platform. I just got the first game a couple days ago, and I decided to tackle it today in one sitting (well, how else would you do it?). I also made some more custom objects for hacks, so that's good.

And yeah, I definitely feel like I'm not living up to my potential a lot of the time. I could be doing so much more, or doing things that are more useful.
This discussion is basically me in a whole, basically. I start wondering what I'm even doing with my life.

Then I realize I have fun regardless and don't question anything.

I like this sentiment. I always do my best to be a good person and not make people unhappy, so it's always a priority for me to help others when I can - but otherwise I just don't really care a whole lot about doing something revolutionary and changing the world. As long as I'm enjoying my life and having a good time from day to day then who's to say that I should alter the way I behave just so I can live up to someone else's expectations? (unless they're my employer of course)

Besides, part of what makes me happy anyways is challenging myself to be better and make difficult achievements, so it's not like I'm slacking off completely from "achieving my potential" or however you'd like to phrase it.

I also feel the same sometimes. I like to look at my old posts and realize I've improved as a person and not become the dumbest user with the most contentless posts ever, but at the same time I always feel like I should have done more. I like to try new things and help people (though you cannot live up to anyone's expectations at all)
