Like, I dont understand how people can be this upset over an unobtrusive advertisement. It reflects the general mindset I've been seeing on this forum. "I'm okay with having fun, but only if it's the kind of fun I approve of. Any other kind of fun is not fun, and I refuse to be a part of it." it's crazy man just lighten up and stop trying to ruin the fun!
I know, but the quality of the jokes has been lacking recently.
I like the ads here normally, but right now they're really needing to get better.
I prefer the shitpost ads over the dull webcomic ads that literally no one clicked on

If the ads get on your nerves, I guess you could just block them and ask someone to let you know when another one gets put up

i'm more familiar with "the muffin of doom" because i watched this (now blammed) newgrounds animation around 7 or 8 years ago called "who killed the internet"
it was in a segment about those who were "nauseatingly random" and featured a young teen on gaia who loves everything random, like invader zim
it also bashed on wiggers, furries, emos, backseat mods, and weebs

I still maintain that the best zim episode is the rashomon-style one where the main cast gets interviewed by a television show host because the alternative was him writing an episode about "Pigfoot" and nobody wants that
Honorable mentions goes to the one where Dib installs a hidden camera in Zim's base and records his actions but he only does anything interesting when Dib's conspiracy theory friends aren't paying attention, and the one with the moose room where they spent all their animation budget on CG walnuts because that's what nickelodeon wanted apparently
A bunch of staff changed their name color to pure black, making it impossible to see their names.
So Kieran made every black name turn into "Stupid" with a pink background, but then those staffers changed their colors slightly to still be unreadable without making the "Stupid" appear.
Then Kieran just stripped them all of their color changing powers, so they could no longer change the color at all, leaving it white.
Seems to be reverted by now though?
I'm kinda glad that happened cause the black names were legitimately the most annoying thing on this site in a while.
