Editing the Overworld icons?

uh... I finished playing through the demo world and I kinda want my level icons to look like some of the ones on their overworld... (a lakitu cloud and a phanto to be specific), however, I don't know how edit what the overworld tiles look like, a little help?
1) Download YY-CHR
2) Change yychr.ENG to yychr.ENU
3) In LM, uncheck Use Joined GFX Files in one of the menu things on the top (not necessary, but helpful if using ExGFX)
4) Press the Red Mushroom Icon
5) Open the new folder, which is named Graphics
6) Open GFX1E
7) Change the drop-down to 4BPP SNES
8) Edit the level tile(s)
9) In LM, click on the Green Mushroom
Which tiles are safe to edit out of them? Because some of the blank ones are used for tiles... and they don't show up in lunar magic... (but they show in the hack. :))
feel free to edit any tile except the blank ones.
yeah... I edited those ones...
anyway, I took a little photo...

the red ones are ones I THINK are safe to edit, but I just wanna know how they are used beforehand...
and the blue ones are what I DID edit that probably weren't correct.
also, how do I change what palette the icon uses?
The images circled in red are used for the Sunken ship and the SNES logo found in the special world. As for the palette all level icons use the second half of the palettes so even if you use the first half they default to the corresponding colors on the other half.

Also the blank tiles MAY be ok to use I think they are just there for the invisible levels but I could be wrong.
Okay, thanks. I can edit the special world ones safely.
and how do I get it to show the SMW colors? I'm just getting a basic color range...
Load up a clean rom in ZSNES, then make a savestate on a level.
Load the savestate into YYCHR.

You mean the overworld. You want its palette, not a levels.

Actually, you can edit the blank ones, you'll just have to replaced the tiles at the bottom (under the Forest of Illusion submap) with other blank tiles.
Well, as I mentioned in my new thread, I'm having color problems...
