The Title is Irrelevant (absolutely nothing - January 5)

The seasons level looks amazing. I agree with CP in all reality XD

A level where you can jump between certain time periods of the level would be great. The past where it's in one piece. The present where it's banged up slightly. And the future where it's been buried underground.

It's cool to see that the enemies are different in every part. Great seasons level.

Not really. You don't have to do any actual backtracking as such, it looks much longer than it actually is.

Looking good! I like the idea of having to find that P-Switch to be able to use the platform but shouldn't you put in a reset door just incase the player has an IQ of 6 and wastes/loses the switch?

If you screw up really badly and miss your chance to get on the platform you can still spinjump on chainsaws to get to the other side.

Like I mentioned on the IRC, that looks really sweet. The colourfulness mixed with the translucentcy makes for an awesome effect.
And to add to that effect the background is dark gray. Great idea there.

Again, my only suggestion is to change the sprite colours to something bright as well.

That level seems pretty cool, and I liked the green palette of the saws' engine.

Well, I think I'll just bring this thread back up.

Anyway, still working on the hack. I'm probably going to cut off the next demo at the ends of the grassland and forest worlds, and then leave the rest for the final release. I don't think putting any more that half the game in a demo is a very good idea; it gives you less stuff to be waiting for.

Nah, I'm not really going for anything really decorative. If I were to change anything I'd probably give the middle section less decoration.

Thanks a lot. The level is called Pleasantry Plateau so why wouldn't there be explosives everywhere? Many reasons.

You can go ahead and wait for the final release, but I don't expect it getting finished until the second half of 2011, at least. Whatever, it's up to you. Also, no, I'm not calling the final level "The Castle is Irrelevant", the main reason being that the character limit for level names is 19. I had the idea of calling it "O.T.F.L.". What it stands for is for me to know and for you to find out (or guess several times and be wrong, then finally give up).

Moving on, since my last post in this thread the Green Switch level has been completed. (No picture because there wasn't one for the Yellow Switch either.) This leaves approximately 9 levels to go until another demo, which I'm guessing will be released in about two months time.

I'll probably have the next level done in a few days.

I don't think it's one of the best levels I've made, though I haven't actually played through it.

Just one more world of levels to complete for the next demo. I'll probably finish somewhere in the middle of October, then get all the testing stuff done in a week or so.

The palettes look great, the orange hills match with the red dirt of the FG well. I also like levels with Banzai Bills for some reason.

Very forest-y, I like the happy green palletes too. Keep it up, I can't wait to play some of these levels.
