Tip: Unless you've disabled the bonus game, don't use a goal tape in a vertical level. The bonus game won't appear if a player happens to reach 100 bonus stars there.

How much different is working with ASM on GBA games from games on SNES?

Tbh, I've done most my hacking on GBA games. Just want to know.

-----------

STELLA!
Completely different. The GBA uses the ARM7, while SNES uses 65c816. The difference is really like day and night between the two.

For example:
(ARM7 code)
LDR r0,=0xsomething32bit

(65c816 CODE)
LDA #$something8bit (Unless you're in 16 bit mode)

As you can see, 65c816 thrives around basically, a register system where you have A,X, and Y. The ARM7 has, IIRC, 15 registers.

So, yeah, I suppose you could compare the two with C++ and Visual Basic. Completely different processors.

Give Mario some love?~
